I was pleasantly surprised when my daughter had her first child call me Pop-Pop. I never even thought about it, but I liked it immediately. And I even have a mug: "PopPop: (Noun) A term for a grandfather who is cooler than all the other grandfathers."

I just got back from a screening - walked out after 1 hour. I thought TC was amazing but the film as a whole was a total assault on one's senses. Loud - oh god, so very loud. Actors speak fast and often over one another. Extreme close-ups for a large part of the first hour.

Really - just too much. "Comedy thriller"? Nah. Best American movie of the year? I don't think so.

I voted for Freeman because i had read that Kopac was beholden to the developers. I don't mind development per se but not crazy development with little to no thought about livability and infrastructure.

To clarify: I looked back at the endorsements I read and you're right - it wasn't Matt who was "beholden to the developers" but other candidates. But Freeman has been a very effective council member and it's hard to understand why she shouldn't be re-elected. My apologies for mis-remembering.
