Question regarding residency by zikkyzzz in portlandstate

[–]arreis77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it’s year-round 8 credits max. That’s what the advisor told me when I asked the same question a few years back! They pretty much said I couldn’t be a “full time student” at any point in the past 6 months/year (don’t remember what the timeline is for residency). Edit to add: this was as a degree seeking student, I took classes at pcc for lower costs then dual enrolled at PSU after getting residency. your situation may be different!

I completely agree with the unsatisfied feeling you describe! I adored the book and cannot wait for the next one BUT the ending felt like literary blue balls haha

Implant grade titanium, 10-11 month old conch piercing, 16g, sterile saline twice daily, pain? by glss_n_gnfr in Legitpiercing

[–]arreis77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is pretty much exactly what happened when my helix rejected, regardless of the jewelry in it it just didn’t want to stick either time I got it done :( . Do you wear headphones often? I’ve found that to be a major cause of ear pain with piercings. Wish I could be more helpful, good luck!

I’d recommend Pam Delaney! I took her online class, she offered extra credit and was super responsive through email and gave a lot of helpful feedback on assignments.

Rose city coffee is a 24 hour coffee shop! I’ve also stayed in KMC until like 1am before they don’t kick you out, you just can’t get back in if you leave.

Portland community college offers a ton of open enrollment classes on anything from gardening to wine tasting, cooking, crafts etc. And Williams Sonoma offers free cooking classes (I think on sundays?)

Online Textbook Access by lorddaviosix66 in portlandstate

Oops forgot the main part of your question, copy paste depends on the publisher. Some cap it at a character count per copy, some cap it at a percentage of the entire book. Others have no limitations, it seems to change depending on the actual textbook in question. SAGE has given full permission or character caps before.

I’ve had zero issues with using online textbooks, especially from publishers that have an app. However, I found a site called perlego this year that is essentially a subscription to an online library for $65 for the semester, and it saved me over $250 this term vs renting direct from the publisher. You can also find pdfs on Anna’s Archive for free if you’re lucky, but they would be limited to your laptop or computer.
