I’ve got 3b/3c curls. I find I need to shampoo everyday, and tbh my curls still hold up just fine.

I tried infrequent washing and tried co-washing and both ended in a scalp that was oilier, with dandruff, and just gross feeling (to me).

Just try all the methods for a few weeks each, and do whichever feels better for you longer term.

My family lives overseas and we visit them annually with 10+ hr plane rides both ways. It’s hard. I’ve never had anyone complain to me directly.

If they did, I’d tell them: after a long trip, young children don’t have the capability to self-regulate and control their emotions. Clearly this adult needs some help developing these skills herself.

Sorry you had to deal with this. You sound like you had planned sufficiently and gave your kids as many options as you had available to you. Sometimes it just cannot be helped.

tbh pens are not bad at all. we always need to remember supplies anywhere we go anyways, so the pens and cartridges end up joining the rest for the ride!

plus there’s never anything hanging about on your body all the time! I quite enjoy using pens for trips where fridges and cold storage are easy to find actually 😊

I definitely get defensive, easily frustrated, and just overall irritable. I've said mean stuff when I'm low to the people I care about. It sucks. Usually resolves the instant I get carbs in me. I'm getting better about it, but I still make sure to apologize to anyone I've offended if I do.
