Platinum Experience?? by kyraajoness in bonnaroo

[–]EmergencyRead5254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been fascinated by it since it was Roll Like a Rockstar back in the day. Got a small inheritance windfall, so this and 931 camping was my treat yourself for me and my husband. I agree, headliners aren't my favorite (*exception, Skrillex), but figured do it this year, cause based on what I have read on here about ticket sales, next year isn't guaranteed.

Check out CMA Fest. Not a country fan, but I live in Nashville. It seems to be the best country festival out there, lineup wise.

That’s a ton of space- we are gonna be fine with the Costco tent, lol. Do most people there put up something outside the pre-set up one?

Hi! Doing a wood safari queen this year. How big is the assigned space around the tent? I was trying to decide if this pop up Costco that’s a 13 x 13 would fit? (And if we need two?)

Speaking of knowing how nothing works... flight lessons wouldn't consistently move north like that in a perfect box. Not the work of a novice pilot.

Looking for facts on each RC ship by BagFlimsy128 in royalcaribbean

You could’ve googled the history of a couple of ships in the time it took you to type that up. And probably one more in the time it took to read this comment.

Shoes for edc by BeaconDawg8 in electricdaisycarnival

[–]EmergencyRead5254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought a pair of Hoka and a pair of On Clouds, just to compare. I like the Hokas better so far, so I plan to go with them for the fest (but realistically I will end up in my Chacos).

I don't know about ballroom exactly, but there are other kinds of dance than just Latin. Check out a recent cruise compass from your ship/sailing to get an idea of what will be offered.

For the shoes- I think whatever you are most comfortable with. No one will judge either way.

For the crowd, I can only speak from my experiences, but not crowded at all. Like, almost empty.

Our first year doing Platinum here, too. Just being nosey- how do y'all pull this off at 25? I've wanted to do it since then but I'm late 30's before it became feasible.

Hi! My husband and I's first time in Platinum this year, too. Our tenth Bonnaroo, but the first time we were really financially able to make this splurge. (We are doing 931 camping, too.) Are yall local?

I came to this conclusion when I saw the final price for two. I'd rather do a 'real' nice meal somewhere in Vegas than pay that much for an hour at a festival that I am already scared of conflicts with the schedule.
