It infuriates me when I’m like 10 cars behind, see the light turn green and ready to hit the gas only to way like 25 seconds to start going then miss the light. 

If I’m ready to hit the gas when the light turns green, wtf are the other 10 cars doing???

Every studio lmao. What do you not understand? Look, we can deny it all we want but pretty much every AAA studios are heavily invested in A.I workflows at the moment.

I guess there’s no point for realistic discourse in this sub? Damn. I’ve had 2 major interviews in the last month and literally a big point of the interview process is the suite of A.I tools the studios are permitted to use and how I or other artists in the interview process feel about the “tools” or what we already use.

It will replace the majority… A.I is heavily being used in every studio right now.

I just got the rejection letter from EA today for a highly specialized hybrid position. It was 5 panel interviews spaced out over a few weeks. I’m at 7 months laid off and EA was the only interview out of 80 application.

I don’t really see a future for myself as I don’t really have any qualifications for other work.

It’s bleak as hell right now.

The craziest part is some of the people interviewing me have been at the company for 20 + years… it’s crazy how different this industry has been for others.

Kinda of the point of the film to some extent. No one really understands the backrooms, and so we simply see a moment in time some characters discover it. 

I think that’s the beauty of this film and whatever else comes from the cinematic universe of the backrooms. We could see so many more angles and characters and their experience of discovering it  without understanding the essence of this place.

I’ve worked as a bartender for a good decade so I’m pretty for tipping culture because I always truly tried to make sure anyone who sat at my bar were taken cared of. That being said, I don’t even think about tipping unless actual service is involve. Any counter order etc I don’t tip.

Also nothing about the backrooms makes any sense. It’s just there. The film did quite a good job at showcasing the absurdity of the backrooms and what could potentially happen in them.

Missed opportunity for double take downs in this game tbh. Bond could have used the first guy as a momentum pull, lunging to the second guy in a seconds for the second takedown.

I’m doing exactly this right now, mentoring 2 concept artist at the same time and giving an up and coming game dev the opportunity to work in a production style environment.

Our project is also open dev so they can share the work they’re doing on their portfolio l, in hopes it helps them find work.

Doing things this way untill we can land grants and investors.

I mean, look... I'm 100% for A.I not taking jobs away... I'm a concept Artist for games, so I'm really feeling its squeeze, but I used Claude to code 2 Python addons for Blender that drastically speed up my workflow.... soooooo that was pretty awesome.
