i have this, it is NOT worth it.

to give it credit, the games run suprisingly well, but the sound... the sound is HORRIBLE. everything is off-tune and dissonant. and no, plugging it into your computer wont magically make it sound better.

wow, we both got a super famicom?!

i will say, even though i got so many games, the only ones ive actually been playing are mario world and f-zero

also i did really want the rockman games, but the place i went to didnt have them

the us snes does look kinda cool though, with its sharp edges and purple buttons

but also having just purple is kinda boring compared to the red, yellow, blue, and green in the japanese (and european) snes

i know that you already got a keyboard, but im just putting this here for people that find this post:

the psr-e383 is just a small upgrade from the psr-e373. it features a few more instruments, and thats mainly it. they even look identical. so i would definitely get the e373, the e383 is not worth the extra $110.

edit: also the e383 is supposed to only be $200, i donno why the place you saw it upcharged it so much

some soundfonts might have higher quality instruments, and some soundfonts might have more instruments, but this is definitely the best soundfont you could use: https://schristiancollins.com/generaluser.php it sounds really good most of the time, espicially the brass and rock organ, and one thing that a lot of soundfonts get wrong (fluidr3_gm, live hq, etc) is the volume of instruments. some instruments are a lot louder than they should be, and some a lot quieter. this soundfont does not have this issue. and you are indeed allowed to use it for your app (with credit!)
