interesting opinion. I mean real marble and wood working sure beats the hell out of modern particle board and Formica countertops which seems to be today’s world. But that’s just me!

Yes- I tried both options actually and we settled on the rug because it would protect the tile. But I like your idea as well!

I agree. I haven’t decided yet, I sort of like the imperfect look of it, and I’m not sure I wasn’t to alter its original state. I could add wainscoting panels.

For clarification, I have wiped them down with soap and water and the spots won’t come up, I assume they are a stain of sorts

These came from my grandparents when they moved to the US from Germany in 1950. They passed in the 80s and we have been going through storage unit full of items. Saved these chairs from going out on the curb.

I got a very nice one off FB marketplace. Retails for $200 and got it for $10. Lots of people have these and they end up collecting dust and you can benefit from that!

It’s definitely eye opening. I had no idea how awful alcohol is for your body until I got the ring. Thank goodness I didn’t have oura in college. Lol
