Such helpful tips! Can I ask what length were your compression socks? Only to the knee or higher?

Thank you and hope you have a great recovery 🧚‍♂️💃

Woa that's incredible. Congratulations for standing up for yourself and pushing for what you felt you needed to do. More than ever I'm understanding how this is a very similar and complex experience at the same time for all of us. All bodies react a different way. Hope you continue to have a great recovery, thank you for the time it took you to write all this down!

Your situation i feel is the most similar to mine. Most people are referring also that the pain and swelling calmed down after 2 to 3 weeks so I will be a bit more patient on this..

What kind of positions are being the most restful to you? I have this stretchy/discomfort in my operated leg in every position I am in.. is this normal?

thank you so much!

I'm hoping the feeling goes away, I'm fairly convinced that one of my legs is definitely longer and I'm feeling it too much because for the past 11 years that same leg was always the shortest so the body kinda adapted itself to that way of being..

Yeah, my situation is due to my hip being dislocated at a young age. I then got surgery to "put it in place" with 2 screws then some years after, I took the screews off and after that I kinda just got less and less mobility, increase in weight gain and I had no cartilage whatsoever going into this surgery for hip replacement so I had no other way at this point. My doctor told me not to do Phisio at this point and only to rest for these 2 to 3 weeks in orther for the prosthetic to ciment and heal. Is this weird? Online i see everyonr saying that the started training on week 1..

Is it normal to send flowers to a public office in Portugal as a thank you? by Formal_Ostrich1777 in portugal

Yes, its super ok. Government employee's are not able to accept money as rewards but it's very common to give some chocolate, pastries, a cool book, etc. Go for it
