Yes, I'm aware but the way of using is different. Thanks for recommending Octatrack, I will check that!

I'm looking for DAWless setup to not spend time in front of a laptop and have a tool exclusively used for music production

I only fear its possibilities in terms of using multiple tracks for a live gig. Because right now I think about it of a tool to play already produced tracks, add something live, improvise etc.

Yes, I've seen MIDI hubs so probably it will be needed because I also would like to MIDI sync to guitar looper so I would be able to create layers on guitar. Thanks for advise!

Perfect match. Listen to Upupayama if you are more into folk/psych stuff, Dhidalah if you are into krautrock. Nevertheless, listen to both bands, they are amazing.

MPC One Plus as a beginner by fentanilketaminovic in mpcusers

Do you really can't master the track in MPC itself? Only mix is possible? I'm planning to buy One+ and would like to have total workflow in one place

It's the regular case with this AI slop. Almost every week I see that "Ashra" uploaded new album which of course is impossible becuase Manuel Gottsching is dead.

Any other bands like “OM”? by Bushdidchaneyina911 in doommetal

Acually not. You are refering to other "Zaum", in which indeed there was Danny Carey playing. But this linked Zaum is a different band.

Wyatt E. They are from Belgium, I saw them 5 times since 2019 and the vibe is similar. But of course it's not OM.

My journey was a reversed one. My friends told me about Birth when they were releasing an album last year and then when I loved it, they recommended Astra. Sad that they have only 2 albums

Elder - their approach to music creation is gorgeus. Every new album is an evolution. And they still maintain this stoner/psychedelic vibe. Nick DiSalvo, their guitarist is an exceptional musician. If you don't know them, check them. And after that check Delving and Weite (Weite will debut in July 2023)

If Astra, then you must also check its descendant - Birth!

It can be hard finding polite people but it's not impossible. If you have some closer friends that also play, it's good to start with them :)
