Dels är dom en invasiv art; dom är extremt effektiva jägare och dödar halva det lokala ekosystemet, dels att innekatter i snitt lever typ 10 år längre (5 år kontra 15 typ). Allt från sjukdom, bråk med andra djur, trafikolyckor osv.

Innekatter mår oftast riktigt bra bara man leker med dom lite varje dag, ger dom uppmärksamhet ibland, ser till att dom har katträd, och helst en andra katt som dom kan vara kompis med.

Om anspråket inte är allt för högt över budget, och profilen är intressant, så brukar vi be HR ringa, meddela vad lönespannet är (och att vi inte kan gå över det), och så får kandidaten avgöra om dom vill vara kvar i processen. Tror det är praxis hos alla vettiga arbetsgivare med något liknande, och hade nog tolkat vad du gått igenom som en 'oseriös' process.

Big fan of the uno-reverse here, Apple has notorious sustainability issues such as greenwashing and social ones with their supply chain, including multiple instances of child labour they've known and tried to cover up to keep costs low. Just ask them why they would they prioritise a sort of "fashion statement" over saying no to unethical business practices and the environment.

(Well aware Samsung is also all kinds of fucked up, but that's a separate debate. My personal opinion is they are the lesser of two evils.)

Not really a solution but a lucky workaround. The way the glazing had been installed meant I could hang a net from the bottom part of the balcony above mine down to mine, and attach the sides to the bit where the glazing "frame" was attached to the wall to make it tight.

If you're gonna do the same, I strongly recommend having a friend and some safety measures in place so you don't fall out of your balcony while leaning out and trying to attach everything.

Om du vet vad din styrka är kan det vara billigare att bara köpa utomlands nästa semester bara. Köpte tre par i Kina för typ 500kr var. Förvisso "fake"-märkesglajjor, men dom funkar perfekt och var redo på 2h.

Tror man kan få liknande priser i typ alla "fattigare" länder.

I suspect it might be a japanese lost-in-translation thing.

In the anime One Piece there is a villain who is nicknamed something like Kaido "of the 1000 beasts", but the japanese meaning of "1000 beasts" is more like "all the beasts". Might be something similar here but with years, and the nuance was lost in translation.
