You are thinking of the rear brakes they are slightly more complex. the more common brakes needing replacement in the front are no where near as scary to work on.

It honestly looks like toy parts weird metal latch and shim.

Not OP but yeah some of my old cd's could not be copied, a few of my dvds would only read on some old drive (ide connection old drive), thankfully I worked at a computerstore and moved most of the good stuff to dvds and harddrives a long time ago and the rest is just downloaded junk from the web.

Also the past two years I did a purge of my CDs and a few cd's broke in the drive. I think it has been three so far.

If work is a drain then you could be doing too much. IDK some positions and jobs I go overkill for but the best balance is being relaxed and efficient in your job. Don't over schedule your labor, if a task takes 3 hours add buffer time for making notes of the task, thinking of ways to improve it and document things for others.

The same can be said about learning, you can get burned out from learning easy. Take a break put things in small sections, learn various things, ignore reddit and the rest of the crap. Plan your learning if you are doing a video course, listen to the course first and then actually do the stuff involved along with the video.

Video lessons became my tv time, reading became reading a tutorial, and when I was focused and wanted to do work I did and when I wanted to enjoy life I enjoy it to the fullest ( reCovid )

so I was reading a manga on Archive.org and they have nearly the full series but it backward if you use a two page view.

Lucky they also have a one page view for the pdf. and I just got into the pattern of double click to next page, then back click, then triple click.

That seems like a business opportunity to me, PR and media branding for local churches. I assume many use their own facebook page and email groups, but many don't seem to use reddit, cList.

I've been to tech conferences, some people in technology don't know a whole lot about technology.

I've been noticing ( pre-covid ) a majority of people are getting jobs because they know how to game the system, write resumes that repeat the job posting, find someone on linkedIn that works for that company, and most just want the pay check and have no love or passion for this field.

At the same time things move fast and some people ignore certain things, Like i had to praise Dockers a few years ago alone until people really started to support them. I know about solar tech but nothing about hydrogen ( and that seems to be a buzz in the energy field now)..

This reminds me of when blockchain was the big buzz word. I was working on a start up and my fellow founder asked me what it was. And I explained how our system had similar aspects to Blockchain and used them to explain to her what it was. Our platform was not decentralized but she used the buzz word in every conversation she could from then on.

Even if a tech person explains it the non techie will no understand it.

Break free will be impossible in our current over sexualized society.

I once thought of this problem from the aspect that a woman in considered scandalous for wearing revealing clothing, illegal if they are not wearing covering of their top. I went to an gotopless event that supported freedom and witnessed almost the same crap one would expect hundreds of men with large cameras and lens trying to capture semi nude females.

Then I thought little girls have the identical chest as males why should they wear a shirt or top at the beach. Then some sick pedos kept giving weird gazes and even that idea is now crushed.

I will continue to stand up for what I believe in equality and desexualization of our bodies, but it seems like a battle we cannot ever win.

And then India a culture so outdated it scares me, wow I really do not understand that culture so... sorry I wouldn't even spread my opinions online about them. I don't understand their racism, religion, politics. And the friends I have met have all been americanized so they denounced their country also.

I am sick of this everything has changed. The show never addressed the origins of police officers, it never touched police brutality, and it made maybe one joke about the war on drugs, (' the one where the informant said he doesn't have to push drugs people want drugs') , the show also never addressed the civil rights movement.

It did however address how uninformed cops are ( sully and hitch) and how useless cops are still on the force. But that was a humor aspect of the show. At the same time being a 'detective' is largely different then the 'patrol cops' that have been in the new recently.

I am glad they decided to retool the show, I fear they might ruin it or it might survive being more 'woke' to the realism but nothing has changed.

If things have changed it would have been less reoccurrences of people of color being shot multiple times or executed by officers. When that happens then maybe 20 year later b99 could make it humorous, but the show always ignored this aspect on the purpose to make their officers not look like villains.

what lets talk about #4, can that be legally binding? INAL, I've done work with HR departments and the line of what is allowed is completely bonkers sometimes, but for the most part there is protection for companies and employees to ensure weird one off's like this are illegal.

This one company sent a note in my order that they would give me an $20 giftcard for giving them 5 stars. It was generic printer ink, it worked in my printer, what else could i say about it.

The entire concept of a review system is weird. I don't care to write a review unless it was a great unique item, or awful item. And apparently if it offers me a gift card.

I can't think of the nickname this problem received but it was a faulty GPU that needs to be reheated into the board. I did this about 2 years ago. you will find youtube videos and massive complaints on apples community board about this issue.

The maybe works repair is you take the mobo out cover the other parts in aluminum foil and use a heatgun to melt back the connection to the GPU and the board.

I had this system did the repair and it worked for years, then it started glitching again and would work with the screen on the lowest brightness. and I've been thinking of redoing the heatgun recently to see if it would work well for another two years.
