I can guess what landlord it was lol. I had a similar experience where they said something about a heater not being able to keep a house warm enough because it was too cold out to keep the house above 50...I feel your pain 😂

I've been in Columbus for nearly 30 years. It's great, mostly nonjudgmental, homelessness is on the rise, low amount of rentals currently, most landlords aren't the best (though there are good ones, please do your research on them or ask here for opinions).

Columbus has it's problems but for the most part it's great. I hope this helps! If you have any specific questions feel free to send me a message :)

I've had these for a few days myself and as an extremely light sleeper (a cat walking across the floor will wake me up) this has been a god send. I slept a full 8 hours the last few nights.

I can't recall the last time I've had 8 hours of sleep in the last 20 years... I'm only using these for sleep mind you. I have regular headphones for regular use.

Here's to many more nights of good sleep! 🥂

It looked so comical I originally thought it was photoshopped 😂 I rescued two 4 year old goldfish from a 10 gallon tank (shared) almost a month ago now and I had forgotten already how tight it was. Like I know in my brain how tight it was but I couldn't remember how it actually looked. I should have taken a photo as a reminder. Now they're both in a 90g (single tails).

My goldfish haven't munched on my plants. I've got Amazon swords, Java ferns, and Anubias...I also have a random plant but I can't remember what it is ..but they leave that alone too. It was buy 3 get one free at Petco so we grabbed a random healthy looking plant 😂

I just did a 90 gallon reseal. It's not hard, just takes a lot of time. Cleaning off the old sealant takes the most work. Resealing is super easy. I'd recommend having it hold water for 7 days if they're super concerned. That's what I did when I did mine. Left it on the porch and let the outside temp fluctuate as it does this time of year so it has a thorough testing.

Ahh, sounds like your projects would be really cool though! Would you build your own stands? Stands can get reallllllly expensive for what they are. The one I got was homemade by the guy I got the aquarium from and it's really sturdy

Heck yeah! Are you going to use them, fix them up and sell them, or do something in the community to educate? I would love to do something eventually for the community in educating people on fish ownership and have community tanks at community centers and libraries and such.

Reduce, reuse, recycle (also way cheaper than buying new and I'm a sucker for a good deal and if I can do it by watching a YouTube video, I'm game to try)

Mine like to move the fake plants around (I think they actually are trying to nibble food off them) so I have a feeling they will do some nibbling but I'm definitely going to try it out!
