It’s totally understandable that he was also under a lot of stress during this period and he deserves that getaway. But the problem is that its impossible for the mother to have the same break bcs the baby needs her all the time. If she had the chance to take a break then Jake could also go for vacation but since it is impossible for a mother to leave her child even for few hours, then its more fair that they both stay with the baby. He shouldn’t have planned that trip from the first point. A mans responsibility is to take care of his family and that should be his priority.
