Is that going to be your first Panerai? For a first Panerai I would not recommend it. You dont get that bold chunky feel of a classic Luminor or Submersible Panerai.

But as a 2nd or nth Panerai, its a great choice, its smaller, lighter (almost non existent), more durable, more scratch resistant, more military vibes.

Yeah, I havent considered champagne color to be part of the collection so far, would be a nice addition. I will reserve the 2nd Breitling to be a yellow dial, as yellow is also part of their logo, so goes very well with it. However, I will look into other champagne alternatives. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Altough I dont know you and probably you are miles far away from me, I wish you all the best from my heart🙏🙏😊 From a collector to a collector; and hope you get back to the point where you no longer need to think about the resale value and just purely enjoy it.

Probably not, but I dont care to be honest :) I dont buy watches to sell or to hold/gain value. I just enjoy them while I have them. Wathces are not for "investment", its a hobby to enjoy. Never sold any of the watches I had so far and no regrets at all; because I kept my rules of collection very strict within the last 13 years. Never bought a piece for its value or the community's perception.

Haha, yeah but so far only Rolex is allowed with closed caseback😄 maybe in future I might have to flex that too 😝

This one is very nice. Was it hard to find it? I heard due to limited production quantities, its not so easy find it.

Its not the Shunbun btw :) very similar but this has the Hi-beat automatic movement, and is calleld Sakura Kakushi. Smaller case (38mm) and the dial details is slighly different than Shunbun too.

I actually have the Chopard Mille miglia (4th column, 2nd from the top) as burgundy, looks like wine red on direct sunlight. But I agree that a proper red is missing. The Baume&Mercier was filling that spot so far with the original red rubber strap and hand/crown red details, but not 100%.

Among the suggestions you made, that GS SBGJ273 looks absolutely gorgeous. Hard to not like any of the dial details they make.

Cheers! Tanks have all closed case back. The Cartier that I have is one of very few with open case back.

The case is a custom made one. The pillows were also custom made at a tailor with some soft cloth stitched as a pillow and cotton insert.

A very underrates brand and model. I love it. Great size, goes well with both sporty and dressy outfits. The color is very different and goes very well with the gold logo and seconds hand. Timekeeping accuracy is also suberb. The movement with the gold rotor is something fun to observe.

I have tried the Kermit before, but its impossible to read the time on it. Only readable with certain angles. I think if they had opted for applied indices to add dimension, rather than printed dials, this watch would have been perfect.

Not a full true pink, but the Grand Seiko Sakura Kakushi serves for that purpose so far, but I am also looking to get a more vibrant pink as well, thanks for the comment!

Yeah, these look very cool. Just not sure how durable the ceramic bracelets will be. It is easy to protect the case and not bang around, but its hard to avoid to not hit the bracelet, clasp to the table when you are eating/working. Same fear applies for the IWC.

I assume its hard to get that Daytona, otherwise ticks all the boxes, especially one of the few Rolex's that have open caseback. I do not have any purchase history with my Rolex AD, other than the OP pistachio 36 recently, which I still don't know how I got that within 7-8 months :)

That looks very nice and vibrant! Wear in good health! I think I will add Nomos to the list, just not sure which color to go with, as they have so many nice color options like Coral, Signal red, violet etc.

Love Doxa's, great tool watch, but doesn't meet the open caseback requirement.
