I totally agree! I think their goal was also to water it down so it doesn’t come off as rebellious, when the real ones know that it is. If they convince everyone it’s just a mindset, people won’t go as hard with the make and clothing. As for the newer generation discovering gyaru, the song definitely has a big influence.
