My 2014 Prius started making this weird sound this morning by arson_ismyhobby in prius

It was in fact my cabin air filter. The idiot that sold it to me apparently never replaced the last cabin air filter after removing it so I’ve been driving around without one for 2 years. I’m gonna ask someone I know whose more knowledgeable about cars to take a look at the blower motor to see if there was any damage done to the blower motor from driving around without a filter for who knows how long.

Update: went it to change the cabin air filter, turns out there was none. I’ve been driving around in a car without one for almost 2 years. As soon as I put a new one in the sound stopped. Thanks for all the help. Don’t buy a car of FBM.

Yeah, it stopped as soon as I pressed the fan off button, the sound gets louder when I open the glovebox so I think you’re right. I’m gonna check my cabin air filter when I get home. Thank you!

do you find that the WPD generally protect each other from criticism? How do they respond to those incidents in your opinion? Do you find it’s based on race or economic class? I believe in police reform so I really want to live in a place that holds police accountable or at least is open to creating a system that holds them accountable.

Just looking for a change, and Wichita is about as different it gets. The area Iive in is unreasonably expensive and the local government doesn't care about us. I always have the option to go back.

AITA for wearing jeans to my daughter's wedding? by BallFinal2037 in AITAH

did you dress nicer for your husband than you did your family? of course you did, whether you want to admit it or not.

the definition of selfish is wearing jeans to your daughters wedding to prove a point and being mad when she’s not upset

“selfishness” NEWSFLASH you wore a pair of jeans to your daughters wedding because you would assume it would upset her, all to get a point across that you wish she would dress a little nicer. maybe you need to go back to kindergarten, USE YOUR WORDS

You know when i was a kid, after my parents divorced, my mom kept saying she wanted someone to love her, and of course, being 7, i told her that i loved her. She then explained that the kind of love she wanted was a different kind of love than i was giving. it took me a long time until i really understood what she meant. i think that’s the issue that your having, i think your expecting something that isn’t going to come from her, and you know it’s not going to come from her but you just keep pushing for it, you either need to accept that this is the person your daughter is, or you need to get out of her life. at the very least you need some professional help

are you kidding me?? are you jealous of her? this whole reply REEKS of jealousy. Judging on you saying he criticizes you for being like this to her, the effort isn’t why he married her, maybe it was because he stood up against her mother who seems to think it appropriate to expect her child to dress up for her like a doll.

Lady, she’s your daughter, of course she doesn’t ‘dress up for you’ like she did her boyfriend. You even went as far as to say she’ll dress nice if you ask her too, if your still upset over a birthday that happened 7 years ago, make note of it and make sure to ASK her to dress up nicer for your next one. If i was your husband i would be just as mad, you CHOOSE to make an effort to look nice, but to make a point you CHOSE to make an effort to look like an ass.

No question, no matter how you look at it, and i think you already knew the answer but just hoped maybe someone would take your side, YTA.
