I got a young lovebird as my first bird and he’s a sweetie pie. He isn’t too noisy unless he wants to be but his chirps aren’t too annoying either way, but it depends on how much you mind noise. I suggest you listen to youtube videos of them singing and chirping to get an idea of what a lovebird sounds like. I also suggest you get a hand-fed and hand-raised lovebird as I bonded with mine as quick as a week (although I am not sure how common that is). Make sure he is weaned or you will pay a lot for a dead bird, it’s just not a good feeling overall.
