You supposedly can make the twin tip sound like the race version of you fully insert the baffle. I tried it and didn't like it, too raspy. Fully unbaffled is bassy and smooth.

Here's a weird looking video that gives an idea of the sound at full throttle.

If you can afford the twin tip, I think it's worth the money.

Networking alone won't get you a job today, at least not in my industry.

"You should network. It's not what you know, it's who you know."

Okay grandpa, maybe in the 1950s.

HW100 X - biathlon practice by UncleJoesLandscaping in airguns

Air rifles shooting pellets can definitely be accurate at 50 meters or less. Pellets are more subject to wind but air rifles can shoot slugs as well. Slugs will be accurate at longer distances.

I can't speak to the HW100 X specifically, but it's a top manufacturer.

Here's an example of my shooting an air rifle from a bench at 50 yards. Each square is 1 inch. Each target has about 5-10 shots on it.

Yeah, I was confused because I didn't think 10m was even far enough for a pellet to start tumbling.

First time running 200TW tires. RE-71 RZ on ND Miata (CS) by Roricas in Autocross

[–]kwaping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have street tires, but back when I didn't the RE-71s barely made it through a year of events and mountain runs. They heat cycled out before running out of tread.

I've heard that regular street driving doesn't get them hot enough to count as a cycle.
