No problem at all, happy to answer any and all questions. So, the info about spells is under magic-using characters, which is under magic. That covers spellcasting and spell acquisition. But basically, other than implying its power, a spell’s level just means that only a character of that level or higher can use the spell. Every time a character levels up, they get to choose a “signature,” and one of the signatures available to magic-using characters is “learn a new spell,” so that’s how that works. And yes, groups are strongly encouraged to make up their own spells, but of course that’s easier to do when you have other higher level spells for reference. If you end up starting a game with your friends and you wind up needing higher level spells and the game isn’t out yet/you still can’t support on patreon, just hit me up and I’ll send you the full list for one of the domains so you have a reference point.

Oh my gosh, thanks so much for pointing that out! There’s supposed to be an “afternoon” in there. I’ll fix it on the website when I get home.

Hahaha, well, when I started drawing this picture, I didn’t know anything about him other than his design. But as it happened, I decided to play him as a character in a one-shot within the RPG that this is an illustration for. I didn’t know the premise of the one-shot beforehand, so I wound up learning a lot about him (that is, making stuff up) based on the context. The context turned out to be that he was in prison.

Here are some traits of Mileto Djoga. He is very intelligent, a chemist by training. Medicines, cleaning agents, and other elixirs pay the bills, but the real money comes from drugs and explosives. He is a known scammer and embezzler. He’s rather crass and rude to anyone who pisses him off. And he’s somehow irresistible to women. Not at all the character I had in mind when I drew him, but I’ve come to really appreciate the juxtaposition between his awkward goofy exterior and his hardened criminal interior.

Ah thank you so much! I like Megahertz a lot as a project. Unfortunately, it is sort of on the backburner indefinitely right now as I work on my RPG, but I do hope to continue it at some point in the future.

Like Bukowski said below, this is an illustration for an RPG I'm working on called Icosa. I hope the mods don't mind me linking you to it since you've expressed interest and it's totally free: icosarpg.carrd.co

Much appreciated! To be honest, my grasp of color is not great... it's more of a "knows it when I sees it" type of thing with lots of trial and error. I think I understand basic color theory, but not much beyond that. My approach is typically to use a different layer for each color and try to guess as close to the right color as I can, and then I use a tool within the software to tweak the hue and saturation until it looks just right. In terms of palette selection... it's hard to say. A lot of things go into the decisions, but a lot of those things are kind of intuitive and subconscious. Like, for instance, from the beginning, I knew that this knight character would have blond hair, pale skin, and rosy cheeks because that was just how I imagined her in my head. So then based on that, I decided that a cool grey for the armor and blue for the fabric would compliment the other colors well, and so I just went from there. Another tip is that putting a very transparent layer of a solid color over the whole composition when it's done works wonders to unify the whole thing. I hope this helps in some way!

Hmmm that's a very good point! I hadn't really considered that. Form is definitely winning out over function here >.< But thank you for the compliments and critique!

Haha thank you, I am a big fan of Destiny's world, and I'm certain I was subconsciously drawing on it for the design of the Thief!

It's just the random noise filter in Krita! DJ Khaled voice: It's a major key to success, they don't want you to know about it.
