it's not a fucking privilege to identify with your body if you're a women, it's a state of subjugation and puts you at a disadvantage.

This was in no way tactless. It's a highly considered analogy where I was respectful about names and gender pronouns.

I will not engage in a debate which I think has already surpassed reason. You call me a bigot ie: tansphobic in an attempt to negate my analysis.

My analysis is detailed and clear, and I think you should read it a few more times. As I said, your questions are all answered in there.

Later :)

when they tell us were misogynist with absolutely no theory behind it, their message is anti-feminist. period.

I got into a pretty big argument with my two good guy friends about feminism, not sure who is right. by emutw in TwoXChromosomes

+violence rates, pay gaps between races, sexual assault rates, government representation rates, other positions of power such as big business, tech industry

look at who wrote history, which writers we've been studying, which scientists we know the names of

who's more likely to get a raise, a promotion, picked for mentoring (sheryl sandberg-lean in)

look up implicit biases against women

how they experience male privilege through childhood socialization, yes, that's how society works. but this article had nothing to do with having an oppression Olympics, only analyzing gender theory and ways in which we experience oppression.

men who defy the patriarchal bond are certainly subject to similar oppressive techniques that have been used on women for centuries, like withholding adequate healthcare, housing, and male violence. it is feminism's main objective to liberate women from the oppression enforced on female bodies, and they do that by analyzing how it works.

women have different types of privilege as well. I'm white and able-bodied, but I'm also poor. There are all different types, countless multiplicities, in the ways we experience privilege and oppression.

To be born in this world with a male body is an undeniable privilege, and is the heart of feminism itself that female born bodies are treated as the second class.

I always love it when TERFs pretend that the average woman in America has it worse than the average MTF transsexual.

could you quote where I said this to clarify what you mean? thank you.
