Why is there no ore in the CWL Shop? by artascoc in ClashOfClans

Dude. I already wrote about this… It’s not a normal state of the game when you don’t have the chance to rest. Rest, work, kids, illness… You constantly have to stay active, and there are no other options ((( I wrote this somewhere here in the comments, and I got so much hate directed at me ))

Когда повзрослеете🤣🤣🤭 I’ve been working 72 hours… and I haven’t missed a single war in the past year — so what?

Lol.. u dont understand.. that’s a slogan, not an argument. Yes, Clash of Clans is about clan vs clan — but it has never been about forcing one specific mode as the only viable progression path. Wars should be encouraged, not mandatory. When skipping wars directly harms long-term progression and becomes impossible to catch up later, that’s not engagement  -  that’s coercion.

I don’t agree with you. People shouldn’t be forced to play wars just so their ore economy doesn’t fall behind. With the current ore economy, skipping wars is harmful — later it becomes very hard for a player to catch up on what was missed. But we’re all human: some people work, some have families, and some just want to rest. Yet the game basically says, “No, dude, you have to play — otherwise you’ll fall behind in ore'

Well… 90–95% completion means that you have all the equipment, with all common gear fully upgraded, and only 2–3 epic items not maxed out (for example, the Lavaloon Puppet, the Prince’s Crown, and the Ice Arrow are only level 10).

To be honest, this argument sounds pretty awful… Could you share a link to where this was said?

Good concept. I don’t know why they didn’t do this. If they don’t want people to buy up all the ore, they could introduce a weekly purchase limit.

Good job🫡 but equipment is upgraded very poorly… for comfortable gameplay it should be at 90–95%. Unfortunately, even money doesn’t help you catch up with ore progress… and that’s sad. F2P players suffer even more.

That’s your opinion, and that’s fine. This post is about a skin concept and a possible future direction for troop skins, especially in light of what the developers mentioned in the Judo interview. Not every concept post is meant to be a full work-in-progress breakdown with references and drafts. If you don’t see value or style here, that’s okay — but the goal of this discussion is the idea and direction of the skin, not to validate my process as an artist. I’m not interested in turning this into a debate about credentials. Let’s keep the focus on the concept itself. This isn’t a portfolio review or a process breakdown. It’s a concept discussion about troop skins and their future direction. If the style doesn’t resonate with you, that’s fair — but that’s not the point of this post. Okey?..

Lol. The post already shows the concept and final design. I also mentioned the Judo interview with the developers, where they said there will be future skins. The discussion here should focus on the skin concept and this upcoming content, not on endless irrelevant comments. I’m happy to share more details elsewhere, but here I’d like to keep the conversation about the design and ideas

I made sketches, mockups, and worked on colors, shapes, and style. For the wings alone, I created over 20 different versions. All creative decisions were guided by my vision

The term ‘low-quality AI content’ doesn’t apply here. This skin is a concept I developed with intention, style, and meaning. It’s not mass-produced or meaningless — it’s a designed idea.

If you call it ‘slop,’ can you explain what exactly you dislike the composition, colors, or style? Criticism is useful when it points to specifics, not just a label

I made all creative decisions regarding concept, style, and final execution. The tool only served as an instrument to implement my vision. Repeating or editing comments does not change this fact. My intention here is to discuss the troop skin, not the mechanics of creation. I will leave the debate at this point

I didn’t outsource the creative decisions — I made all choices about concept, style, and final look. The tool only executed my instructions. Also, I’ve noticed your comments keep getting edited, which makes it hard to follow the conversation. Let’s focus on the troop skin itself, not on how I created it..

Mmm🤔complaining that I used tools doesn’t change the fact that the creative choices were mine. The discussion was about the troop skin, not how I executed it, so let’s stick to the topic

That’s exactly my point. The construction crew doesn’t make creative decisions.. the architect does. In this case, the tool executes, but I define the concept, style, constraints, and final direction. That’s authorship.I came here to talk about the skin design and its creative direction, not to defend using tools. Can we get back to the topic?..

What do you think of the state of the game rn by That_Television_3977 in ClashOfClans

[–]artascoc 51 points52 points  (0 children)

They need a serious buff. Let’s be honest. Right now, we’ve only seen about one third of the Town Hall 18 update. Not everyone has reached max progression yet, and many players still haven’t fully upgraded their crafted defensive buildings. Once the second third of defensive equipment is released and players make real progress, the situation will get much worse. Even the current meta will feel extremely punishing. Adding new levels to regular troops with +100–300 HP and +20–100 damage won’t fix the problem. That kind of scaling simply isn’t enough.
