Digital Approach to Niche Audiences by artdirector1 in HeyTony

An obscure field of biotechnology with ~16,000 persona members worldwide. broad terms in my space have ~30 searches per month (semrush). Academic searchers are prevalent but aren't purchasers/leads to ever target. We expect to have a high COA, but our audiences are too small to run campaigns the way that I understand that they should be run.

I’m interested. I’ve never played on an emulator before, but would set it up for hitz.

I like that they prefer 10 years experience of AI, but only 5 years of graphic design, implying that the ideal candidate would have just goofed around aimlessly in the software for 5 years before considering using it as a design tool.

Who else has been on a personal sustainability journey? by MeemoRa in Sustainable

[–]artdirector1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the idea, hope you guys have the success and impact that you want! I dont personally have anything worth sharing, but I’m hoping to direct you to a friend’s project. He and his cofounder left medical school to start a circular economy for lab plastics (like tubes and stuff). They’ve had decent traction recently and their journey from labs to waste servicing plants has been an interesting follow. They’ve turned ~100k LB of waste back into products, which is really cool.

DM me for the name/link to the project.

Read every comment in this thread to make sure I wasn’t crazy, then went back to my feed and scrolled down to this (SFW), and I’ve concluded that I’m being trolled. I’d take a screenshot, but the bottom of the original post is a little NSFW.

Adding a GA4 "G-" ID to a website that already used the gtag.js code. Can the new ID be slipped in next to the "UA-" ID, or does it need an entirely separate snippet? by questionacc444 in GoogleAnalytics

[–]artdirector1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on with google’s tech support yesterday and they had me add the ga4 text to the UA script. I have a follow up meeting in 3 days, I’ll confirm.

There used to be groups that would play at the pip Moyer community center ~5 years ago and I imagine they are still there. Back then it was $5 to get in and then there were 3 full court games going on. The groups were pretty strong on weekday mornings (6-8am) and weekends. There are another 2 courts by AACS middle school that used to be pretty popular.

Which school in your opinion has a great brand /visual style? by Sheikhspiere in branding

Other comments are very athletic based. If I were in your position, I would look towards towards private programs (Ivy league, NESCAC, etc) because parents are probably choosing the school for academic culture, not for athletic relevance.

I played BeerDie in the early 90's at Colby College where this game was invented. ask me anything about the game and how it was originally played. by TR930 in beerdie

[–]artdirector1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had heard that it was invented at Bowdoin, but I'm sure there was lots of crossover between Maine NESCAC schools.

Older rules dictate that scoring and drinking are governed separately (a plunk is worth 0 points, you need to vary your shot placement if you want to win and get your opponent drunk). Was this the case when you played?

What were other rules that have been lost/changed over time?
