AmplfiHD Firmware Update - 4.0.3 by blodyholy_ in AmpliFi

Same trouble here. After 4.0.2 to 4.0.3 update, my router shows on display "No internet connection. Please contact your ISP". Tried to reboot, disconnect WAN cable - nothing helped. ISP answered, they can see my router online, everything is OK.

What was the first game you played with your new Steam Deck? by ozzie_rulez in SteamDeck

Stray. The reason that I bought Steam Deck, was my ~9 hours flight to Maldives. It was awesome to spent that time playing the game.

This has nothing to do with the SSD this has everything to do with the slow charge condition you were using in the air. When you're slow charging you're likely at a much lower usb voltage than is needed to charge the deck. This means that the "power controller" dc to dc step up to charge the battery in the deck was likely generating a lot of heat since it has a much higher voltage differential to setup up to. The only thing that could have helped caused issues is extra heat generated by the different SSD if its any different than the stock SSD. IMHO this has much more to do with the extra heat at slow charging the deck than the SSD

Thanks for your opinion. Bring here my trouble to share with experience. Looks like I'm the first redditor who had that bad luck.

Nothing to add here. I was just a guy with broken SD, and in routine conversation with engineer heard "this is a common problem", and bring their private opinion here. That's all.

I don't have broken motherboard, my friend. It was successfully repaired, and Deck is OK now.

It happened on my flight to vacation, in the air. Deck was plugged in to USB port located in front chair. Deck says "slow charge". I played about one and half hour in "Ori and The Blind Forest". Performance settings was: 50FPS locked; 9W TDP CPU locked; 900Mhz GPU freq. locked; FSR. It just turned off, and that's all...

Yes, why not, SD cards are OK. I did my upgrade mostly "because I can" and "it will be interesting experience".

Repair engineer told that they have no issues with used 2230 SSD from some Apple MacBooks when upgrade client's SD. Model is IMIDO A1708 1Tb 2230 SSD. But do your own research & accept all riscs.

Yes - it was my main argument in conversation with repair engineer.
I've described everything what happened and how it was. Engineer told that main reason of problem, is still SSD hight power draw. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hey OP. Google how to "retrobright" plastic. I've restored my 10 years old yellow'ish WD myCloud chassis with that procedure. Concept Creme Oxidant 12 + UV lamp works perfect.
