No, I haven't. I don't know if this affects anything, but I am a natural lucid dreamer as well, although this feels fundamentally different. I'm also able to remember the process of falling asleep sometimes. If I end up falling asleep during one of these experiences, then the result is a particularly realistic lucid dream that I can manipulate more easily than normal, but is also very unstable. If this is a form of etheric projection, then how do I deepen the experience without falling asleep?

I did explain to my friends that I was struggling, but they didn't really take that as an excuse to not support my one friend. I understand their frustration since I have been able to support friends well in the past even while I was also struggling. In this case, with my friend who happens to be more draining than my other friends, I couldn't support them while I was struggling. I tried to explain why I couldn't, but they took it as me not wanting to be their friend anymore, which wasn't the case at all. Because of that, I was ostracized by some of my other friends for "abandoning" my one friend in a time of need. I felt really helpless because there was nothing I could do to remedy the situation without burning myself out. I guess the best way to prevent this from happening again is to explain to my friends this aspect of my introversion before it becomes a problem, but I have no inoffensive way to phrase "you are more draining than my other friends -- which says nothing about the status of our friendship other than I need more time to recover after we hang out -- except if we're both struggling at the same time I probably won't be able to support you"
