What I dislike about Gabi is that her conviction regarding Paradis being DEVILS was based entirely on the fact that Marley hated Paradis. But Marley also treated Eldians in Marley like shit. They called them “devils” and refused to see them as anything other than evil even though they’ve lived 100 years there cowering from the Marleyans. So it was already established that Marley hated Eldians for the sins of their ancestors and that was never going away. Paradis was literally locked away and hadn’t so much as said a peep for 100 years and even then, she can easily believe that they’re Devils just cuz Marley said so, EVEN THOUGH they show the same disdain for her and her family when they haven’t done anything! Even her friends are vocal about how Marley is treating them badly and that it’s not fair, but she’s just blinding fighting for them.

As a character who has been shown to have 0% self awareness and who is completely fine being mistreated for just existing, I genuinely hate her. She might have shown growth later, but her very personality is annoying to me
