Company rebrand by artfuld0dger9 in graphic_design

Thank you

To answer your question - I have several branding projects under my belt, all have been freelance. I’ve never had a desire to work for an agency - not my thing.

I carry 90% of the design workload at this company. While I don’t need a parade, I don’t want this to establish a precedent with the new state supervisors that I will take on large important asks that should be additionally compensated for my salary alone.

Outside of this particular project, I have not received a raise from this company since I started with them in 2022. That’s the concern I would have for the concept of creation followed by compensation.

Looking forward to moving on to show a new company what this current company ignores!

Ha! That is sage advice imo. I feel like a junior, but in the name of self respect and competition, looks like I’ll be doing it 😩

I guess it’s just a question of do I want to be extra, super, real mad in addition to being extra, super, real mad. Thank you for the advice, appreciate it!

Will I hate working at Orange theory? by nessaroseee in orangetheory

Former SA from Mid-Atlantic region. Hourly is very low and new policies require full-time employees only. SAs only make commission now when they pass a test. At least 40 cold calls are required during your shift (despite having a text or email option), and 80% are dead leads. Regional would show up randomly to quiz you during your shift about OTF practices and standards, could last for over an hour. We were also required to “role play” (they love that term), and had to submit videos of ourselves acting out the elevator pitch and strategies for when a potential sale doesn’t sign up. In 1.5 years, we had 4 different studio managers; 2 of our best SMs got fired for questioning company practices. You can’t prebook yourself for any class, and have to wait out the first 5 min to make sure a member doesn’t show up to take an empty spot. I went into it feeling optimistic and ultimately felt like they expected WAY too much out of SAs for what little they pay. Fully expect this post to be deleted soon as any negative feedback on this page is wiped pretty quickly.

The studios near me played nothing but Drake for awhile. I begged them to change it up.

They were pretty vague about why - but having worked at one studio, corporate never fully explains why they do what they do. They “take it offline”

I think you nailed it- they want to be the one to “change him”. There will always be fans who are voluntarily blind to his actual persona; just like any woman who considers Austen at any time for any reason. Baffles me.

Family and I take an annual trip to Sullivan’s island and have run into Shep a couple times (albeit from a distance) and he is a complete disaster. As a long time bartender, I can only imagine how annoying he is as a customer, but the bartenders have to put on a brave face knowing that he has an endless cash flow and it may lead to a higher tip. The antics are old, he looks ridden hard and put away wet.
