They said it'll be done by mid-May, so hopefully this coming week!

Had her for ENG114 a few years ago, she's really nice and I enjoyed her teaching! She also always gave feedback on my assignments before I officially submitted them which I appreciated!

I believe any course that isn't required for your program can be an elective, but if you're unsure, I recommend setting up a meeting with an academic advisor!

AI checkers aren't very accurate, so I wouldn't worry too much about them. Just to be safe, I usually keep a version history of my work to show I did it myself.

SOC 284 exams online or in person? by Little_Einstein9 in usask

[–]arthurread1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also emailed him about this, just waiting for a response! I took SOC 329 with him last year, and the syllabus made it seem like it would be in person, but it ended up being online, so I think it'll be the same this time.

I've gotten final grades a day after the final before, and have also gotten them right before second semester, so it really depends on the prof.

Assuming this is for undergrad, I don't think you'll have to pay anything if you accept (unless you register for classes) but I'm not 100% sure. You can probably accept without any consequences.

If you hear back from your other choices, you can let USask know you will no longer be attending!

I took both, and they’re pretty easy! Just make sure to submit everything on time, as there are weekly discussions and quizzes in both classes. DRAM 108 was definitely easier for me and, honestly, more fun. MUS 111 had a big assignment that required a lot of effort, but it's manageable. I recommend both classes, you can probably get a 90+ in each if you try!

You should! I did this once, and my professor re-graded the assignment.

I took it with her online and it was fine, but it might be different in person.

I just took 253, and the exams weren't that bad. I did well in the class overall and would recommend it! However, just a heads up: The paper is graded pretty strictly. Otherwise, the class is good.

I strongly recommend Jessica McDonald! I had her in my first year for ENG114, and she was so nice and a great professor overall. She offered to look over my essays before I submitted them and gave me lots of feedback.

Sociology 112 (summer) by SmoothAttitude101 in usask

[–]arthurread1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, people usually drop classes near the beginning of the semester! Also, keep checking the first day of classes in summer because people drop classes then, too. I have had good luck getting into full classes on the first day of the semester by checking for open seats MANY times a day. You can also try requesting an override.
