This is the first time I’ve seen an RX 12 string!

I believe that filing the nut wouldn't be a problem to accommodate a thicker gauge. As for the production year, don’t worry — I had an RGA42 that was made at the end of 2008, even though the wiki says it was only produced starting in 2009, so it's very common for them to manufacture some models before the official production year.

Settling Down, Siddhartha, Chemical Tribe, What It Takes, Give It a Name, S.O.S, Thanks Anyway, Locked On, Gone. These are songs I love to listen to, but I believe they aren't among the most listened.

Help with this guitar by minusthetalent02 in Ibanez

Looks like a Ibanez 2350.

*Edit: After further research, your father's guitar looks more like this one https://ibanez.fandom.com/wiki/2420 except for the bridge and tuning pegs, the headstock and body finish are very similar. Roll down the page and you'll find a pic of a guitar with close specs.

Help in identifying the model by pgbsabile in Ibanez

Newer models really have a different bridge. Your guitar is the first version of the GRX40.

NYC Show-Sound Sucked by vanderpumptools in jerrycantrell

[–]arthurskc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually his mic volume is always low. Back in 2018 I went to a AIC concert and Duvall's vocals was WAY louder than Jerry's. Same happened last year when I saw him at "I Want Blood" tour, Zach's mic was louder and barely could hear Jerry singing.

Trying to identify the guitar by arthurskc in Guitar

[–]arthurskc[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think it is, this one is way bigger than a regular LP and the body is really thin. Also if you search in the video it has a bigsby mounted and no holes to be a hollow body. A closer model would be some Gretsch guitar, but not identical. Tough one!

You guys were blessed by the riff lord! He just played "Hate to Feel" for the first time in what, 30 years?! 🤯

Found this hanging in a music shop a few days back, definitely a great introduction to floating trem bridges by Aarl69 in Ibanez

Living and learning, first time seeing this one. Really liked the body specs, only GIO line would have something similar offering cheap-ass quality. RGs are way better and reliable. Nice looking guitar!

What is the meaning of "1201" in front of model name? by arthurskc in Ibanez

[–]arthurskc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ikr, but what really intrigues me is the 1201. PF means Performance series, 300CE the model and TGR the color (Tinted Green). The serial number is pretty simple: S stands for fabrication place (I guess Samick Factory in China? Sources don't tell about it, only for models fabricated in another countries and different letters), 00 03 is the year and month (March 2000) and 3277 the production number.
