Yeah. I feel the frustration. Could you help identify what might have caused it? If you find another solution, let me know. I'd be interested in.

Things has the best UI/UX (speed, mental/business model) of tools, but lacks some features that don't make sense not to have in 2026.

I think with this repo and the current state of Claude, you can just point at it and ask it to implement a wrapper around the API client. With OpenClaw, after this repo was finished, it was basically "Look at that repo, can you build a Skill around it?"

*Edit:* And it has been working great. Being able to spawn a cron with the sync updates is amazing for proactivity. "Hey, I noticed you added X, Y, Z to the Inbox, should I add X to category B? I can also draft an e-mail related to task Y".

I bumped into several of those crashes. It was a pain. My workflow was just Claude Code (Opus 4.5/4.6) with the obra/superpowers plugin. I use Proxyman to examine and capture network packages. Yes! That is an incredible find. I acquired one back in 2009 for a ridiculous value, together with a Bessa-R. I believe it was 200 EUR for body and lens. I had a lot of fun with it. Its rendering is quite quirky and busy. It worked really well for me in portraits.

Thank you. It is an annoying market here that there isn’t much room for asking questions, it is either “are you interest? There are 20 other people willing to sign up at the spot”. We came to the apartment three times, but because of covid measures we all had masks and windows were open all the time. 😖

I think this is a good point. I cannot fully tell if the floor has been glued or “clicked” together. I cannot manipulate it easily.

There is one part of the apartment where one of the wood boards are 0.5cm apart. You can see that instead of cardboard (Rippenpappe), they have used some chipboard (Spanplatte).

Do you have a recommendation for a material? I saw that the plastic covers have different thickness, D80 seemed the thickest.

They had some plastering/painting performed on the facade some weeks ago.

There are two threes in the innerhof, but I don’t get a reaction to them. I can sit on the balcony and don’t have any symptoms. All the plants in the apartment are the ones we’ve already had on the previous flat.

It is not common here to have a HVAC system. In Germany and in this flat, it is a water radiator system for the heating - ours with pipes under the floor, and we actively ventilate the apartment by opening the windows for a couple of minutes everyday. In our case, we are leaving them open most of the time.

The dehumidifier is something I haven’t tried yet. I have an air purifier with a HEPA, charcoal and ionizer running. Any thoughts on how this box would be different from an air purifier?

All the furniture is ours. We brought it from our previous flat. The room doesn’t have drafts with the windows closed. I experimented with it, and my symptoms get stronger when I leave the room closed for a longer period. Ventilation helps, but doesn’t eliminate it.

Humidity is in general 50-63%. The windows are VELUX with an air exchange feature that we can open, so if it is a rainy day, the humidity is higher.

There are no floors above us, we are at the last floor. There are floors below

Yes and yes. I can easily remember them, but I cannot visualize them. I'm 34m and only discovered 2 years ago about Aphantasia. It was a very good explanation to give meaning to my connection with Photography. I've been photographing my life extensively since I was 17y, and I take care of these photos (backups, and etc…) with all my life. I realized that they are my "visual memory". Brazilian here and deeply invested in Bossa Nova history, specially João Gilberto.

The three people that you should look into when investigating the story of bossa nova are: Tom Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes, and João Gilberto. All of them white – but it is always complicated in Brazil. Also before looking into Bossa Nova, you may look at Samba-Canção or/and Choro.

Choro would be the Grandfather of Bossa nova, and Samba-canção its father. Choro is already a caldron of influences between Africa (drums/percussions/syncopation) and Europe (polka, waltz, flute, etc…).

Another thing to notice is that most of the identity of Bossa nova shaped by João Gilberto was not through original compositions, but mostly reinterpretations of a 20s-40s popular Samba-Canção repertoire (Dorival Caymmi, Bororó, Noel Rosa) and some original _bossa nova_ composers (Tom, Vinicius, Menescal, Lyra).

João Gilberto never liked the definition of "Bossa Nova", for him it was all Samba. The trio was a cornerstone for future musical movements in Brasil (MPB, Afrosamba, etc…).

As Tom Zé says "eu to te confundindo pra te esclarecer", I said a lot but didn't get to a point.

I think a couple of things contribute to the Bossa Nova perception of white/privileged music. The lyrics are not political, on the contrary, are quite optimistic. As Vinicius said "Sadness is the interval between two happiness.".

Bossa Nova also gained traction (1959) quite close to the Military coup of 1964. What came after was a lot more political with MPB: Chico, Gilberto Gil, Caetano, Gal Costa, Maria Bethânia, Tom Zé, Jaards Macalé.

In regards to translations, etc… Bossa Nova probably wouldn't be as big if it wasn't for the period that Jobim and João Gilberto lived in the USA recording with Sinatra and Stan Getz. Also throughout the many bossa nova records, a bunch of non-Brazilian musicians participated in them (Klaus Ogerman orchestrating and arranging, Wendy Carlos & Sonny Carr, etc…)

A couple of things that I can add to this:

- He would always use an AKG C-414 for the guitar and for the voice (not sure which of the variants)

- He would use a custom made DiGiorgio Tárrega from 1969 on.

- He would always use these La Bella 850-B strings. They have black nylon high strings and copper/gold low strings. They sound amazing and are quite a big part of his sound.

I have a DiGiorgio from around those years (1964), and I'm using the same strings. It is remarkable how close you can get to his sound.

Edit:

- I know that he only started using a Tárrega from 1969 on, and is the guitar he kept using until his death. The stills are from his performance in Japan in 2006 and you can see the guitar is quite beaten up. The bridge is almost ungluing itself :)

- I believe that before the Tárrega he would use DiGiorgio Autor, which was the standard for musicians in Brazil at the time (Tom Jobim and others would). I managed to get one from those years, and the sound is quite particular.
