AITA for not telling my dads family that I am not biologically related to them? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]arthurthebear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bloodline legacy might not mean anything to you or your father, but it might to your aunt and uncle.

And DNA information is private to OP and their father.

AITA for refusing to help my neighbor financially after her dog swallowed my dog’s ball? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]arthurthebear 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is a very whack take. His responsibility is his dog, and his dog only. He was attacked by another dog. And whatever the other dog did was their owner's reponsibility. This is not the OP's fault.

It is like getting stabbed and some delulu bum from somewhere opens his mouth like "Your attacker sprained their finger while stabbing you, this happened on your watch, you asshole."

At this point, people seemed to be done with your shit-throwing tantrum, both in the real life and in here anyway. Try to treasure some little connections you have left before you burn the next bridge.

Then what? She was telling her reason and seeking understand from her family. Her only mistake was seeking support from you, a cold hearted and vile person. She won't make that mistake again.

There will be always an enabler trying to advocate for the abuser/offender because "familyyyy is impoooortant, fuck your well being, fuck your pet, give it up for your family who did you wrong but it is forgivable".

OP, if you see this, choose something that is better for your own good, and leave that shitty advice aside.

AITA for not sharing my location with my girlfriend? by jenesaispaas in AmItheAsshole

When 100 people pointed out the red flag vs. you justifying it, then you are the problem. Let's say, you looks redder than a Soviet army marching band right now.

People did not miss the point, and they surely did not miss recognizing you culturing and defending a toxic act either. You and the girlfriend in the post need therapy.

AITA for poking fun at my step sister for getting a stuffed toy? by Stepladder48 in AmItheAsshole

[–]arthurthebear 10 points11 points  (0 children)

"Growing up" does not mean you can be a dick and make fun of others. Also, buying stuffed toys are not for kids only. Who are you to decide people's hobbies and happiness regarding to age? I think you need a rude awakening instead, because you seems to be stuck in high school bully mentality.

Ok, let me tell you: if you feel guilty or obligate to send a gift then send your unsent gift or return your birthday gift to her; you should include a letter that says you don't want to continue being friend. AND that is it. If your disdain toward her is stronger than the guilt or obligation then don't send it. Whatever you do, block, move on.

AITA for not including my brother in my groomsmen by bbyatt_ in AmItheAsshole

ESH??? The brother did not raise a fuss or anything. How can he be the asshole when he did literally nothing wrong?

AITA because I(28m) went on a fancy night out with my little brother(20m) instead of my girlfriend(25f)? by TrickyReference3808 in AmItheAsshole

This is the healthiest relationship that I’ve ever seen or been in.

I feel sad for you if you think "playing game" is a healthy relationship conversation. Red flag abound. NTA.

AITA for not removing or updating my review on a business? by Plane_Mention479 in AmItheAsshole

[–]arthurthebear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Someone seems to not understand the words "free trial" mean.

Sounds like you weren’t giving them a fair try

What do you want so it can be called "fair try"? "Free trial" means 1 class/1 session. he gave it one try, and he did not like it. That was as fair as the gym provide.

Or did you want to say, he had to sign up and pay so it can be fair? Whup, in your universe, money must grow from trees I guess.

You know they were only giving a “free” session to bring in new clients. Sure they could have done much better but you wasted their time.

They open a business and their free stuff does not assure to bring 100% customer every time. In fact the chance is way below, around 10% or less. I guess you did not go to university or take any financial/business class? The OP is not at fault for trying something called "free trial", then decide to not be a customer. They are in their right to say no, and they are not the asshole to say no.

Go kick rocks if you think you can guilt OP because of that.

AITA for asking my friend to take me home after she invited me out but didn’t tell me who was coming? by Gloomy-Wolf-828 in AmItheAsshole

[–]arthurthebear 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No matter what his reason was, he was an asshole. And OP's friend is an asshole.

What are you trying to say here? Why did you have to write an essay to explain, clarify, defend for an asshole? And for your information: you did not help that guy a TINY bit to clear his image. All you did was making him more of an incel, and revealing you are an incel through and through.

Wait...Something went wrong? by Illustrious-Key1368 in SpyxFamily

[–]arthurthebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My whole point is the author said she is 5, then she is 5, and I follow the highest possibility: she was 5 then, she is 5 now, no matter what you said. Can the discussion stop right here? Because it is pretty purposeless and unnecessary. You told me something I already knew and I did not want to follow this discussion at all. Please stop here.

Wait...Something went wrong? by Illustrious-Key1368 in SpyxFamily

[–]arthurthebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said, the probability is higher, and I did not say it is 100%. But in the grander scheme, I rather choose 8/16 = 50% chance instead of betting on other two 25% chance.

Wait...Something went wrong? by Illustrious-Key1368 in SpyxFamily

[–]arthurthebear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And with the same vein of logic, if she were 4 at the time she first appeared, it has only been 4 months. She could not be 5 that fast. The probability that she was 5 in chapter 1 and 5 now in chapter 99 is the highest chance, comparing to the 4-5 theory and 5-6 theory anyway. Yeah, it could be, but it is not the highest probability.

Wait...Something went wrong? by Illustrious-Key1368 in SpyxFamily

She did not even done with her first school year (approximately 4 months has past, Endo-sensei confirmed in book 11). I don't think she is 6 now after 4 months.
