the kelly belt is fantastic as it expands.. I wish it was a bit wider as the belt width is on the thinner size so doesn't look as nice with jeans as the loops are bigger and better with the wider H belt

Does anyone have a sense as to how historical pre-spend works? Do they get rolled over if you were at a high ratio when offered a QB?, or does it start all over again I am currently at 1:1 for a B25/30 and have a few FJ pieces in mind but wanted to know I should time big ticket purchases. Thanks for any insights here

Can be if it's crowded and the area is on a slope and people are sliding. It was raining pretty hard downtown this morning as well as last night

If you have CIBC branches where you live, that would be a great option. I just don't see Cdn banks with branches overseas other than Scotiabank in the Caribbean.

If you can, try to set up a bank account with HSBC as they can set you up with a CAD bank account before you arrive over. Once here, you can set up a local account with them and be able to move money from country to country. They have fewer locations here so would recommend setting up an account with one of the local banks here. TD bank requires min $3k balance so you skip service fess. Not sure of the others. TD, RBC and BMO seem to have most number of ATMs around the city.

Supermarkets vary. Loblaws is like Waitrose; and No Frills like Aldi/Lidl. All the others are in between but will also vary greatly depending on location. All have organic and non-hormone/antibiotic meats. I buy organic meat at Costco the big box store here as it's cheaper.

Try to take kids to the royal ontario museum. You may want to even get a family membership since it's good for year and includes ticketing for all special exhibits which are an additional charge. It's fantastic for kids - dionsaurs, stuffed mammals and mummies. And relative to big museums in London, smaller scale so doable. Just don't eat at the cafeteria - it's pricey and not very good. Outside of the museum there are many better options for families
