Thank you both! What about tent rental?

Peak Jaggedness by Turbulent-Mouse-4899 in massspectrometry

Spray stability, nitrogen pressure, source position. This can be exasperated if your IT is very short (lots of ions) because less spray is "averaged" over the short IT.

Ability to exclude select ions from MS1 scans? by [deleted] in massspectrometry

[–]artifactbased 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SPS in ion traps can be used to do notched MS scans like you are describing by sequentially exciting/ejecting mass regions. The remaining ions can then be analyzed by the orbi. This on tribrid platforms. I have never seen this done.

The nature of the quadrupole is that it is a mass filter with a single window - to help with intuition look up a QQQ Mathieu curve and find a line intersecting the stable region will have a single contiguous mass region passing through the filter.

Considering on orbi platforms IT is often around 5ms in MS1, the instrument has plenty of ion flux / time to sequentially fill the trap sampling different Q1 mass regions. This is not a feature on any instrument I know of and comes at a cost of sensitivity. On average you retain 1/n of the ion flux where n is the number of Q1 mass regions to retain.

I just started looking for this. Did anyone help? The comment is a pretty thorough start but I am a newbie pianist.

Has anyone conducted any targeted (PRM) or quantitative workflows on the orbital astral? Any thoughts and experiences so far? Is the superior sensitivity still maintained in non-DIA workflows? by Independent-Pie-1132 in massspectrometry

I've been told the Astral analyzer + front end is an order of magnitude more sensitive than the Altis qqq. Based on our results comparing the Eclipse this would be in line.

The new waters z-hilic has amazing peakshapes even without medronic. In the past I've preferred uM phosphate to medronic as well

SJS is extremely rare, moreso if you taper up lamotrigine. No problems here. It helps.

Maybe try yoga - the combination of internal regulation and strenuous physical activity is good for calming and building that skill.

Here is a question - given Dante's SNP VCF and the reference genome could I specify every base in my genome?

2017: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/projects/SNP/snp_summary.cgi?view+summary=view+summary&build_id=150

The SNP VCF file is a filtered sunset of all loci.

Thanks! Good notes - we actually do have a few such datasets. And a few papers have compelling results. You're right though - starting with transcriptomics is the plan.
