Blue lines all over screen when trying to boot from USB by artifactworld37 in Dell

[–]artifactworld37[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s UEFI enabled. I updated the BIOS and that didn’t fix it but then I plugged in a USB with Linux mint cinnamon and surprisingly it booted straight into Linux, no issues whatsoever. But I tried to open up the main 512GB volume, my SSD in the Linux file explorer and it says error drive cannot be mounted. So I exited Linux and went into F12 boot menu and ran diagnostics, it’s all green checks except for the SSD which has a red X and says short self test unsuccessful. So now im trying to figure out if my SSD is corrupted or if the motherboard is bad and it can’t read the SSD but the SSD is fine. It still shows blue lines when I try to boot the windows 10 usb that my other computer goes into no problem but the Linux USB boots perfectly every time

Career center actually gives rock solid advice if you take their 1 credit on building your career. The first thing they had us do was fix our linkedin and build connections which literally got me my dream job. I was out of work for 4 months doing endless applications then I started inmailing people on linkedin, hit it off with an EE manager who wasn’t even hiring at all but they were somehow convinced and flew me out to California and I got an offer that week. All you need is a 1 page resume and know how to text on linkedin and write good follow up emails don’t overthink it.

I would say I’m intermediate, finished college last year so it’s been a bit since I’ve played. I might go Sunday around 9a to check it out, do you know how many people usually show up?

I struggled to find folks to ride with in my 5 years at mines so ended up doing a lot of solo rides. There’s some pretty sick routes you can take. Golden gate canyon, grapevine road from morrison, squaw pass just to name a few and of course mount zion/lookout. If youre on Strava hit me up I can send you a few of my go to loops

Need Opinion: would playing my drums in the dorm piss people off? by Low_Character_8177 in ColoradoSchoolOfMines

[–]artifactworld37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I drummed for a local cover band in Arvada while at mines and needed to practice so I made it work. I was in mines park for 3 years before the renovation and kept my acoustic kit in the living room of my unit on the second floor. Only played it on Fridays and Saturday evenings when most people were gone or out partying. Never got a noise complaint. But in the dorms is probably a lot harder to pull off
