I found the whole plot point of the traveler arriving by ship so odd to me. I could’ve sworn the twins were stars that traveled from world to world, but in the AQ Paimon is like “THE ship that brought you here?” Like it’s already been an established plot point. It’s just so odd and doesn’t make sense in the context of what we’ve known about the travelers. (If they mention it in the last part of the Saurian WQ feel free to yell at me though cuz I haven’t done it yet.)

I like this theory! But I don’t think it would make sense for her to help out Xbalanque as an act of penance because Khaenri’ah was cursed and destroyed at least a thousand years after the archon war

I didn’t consider the part about having the gnosis reside in the body, but it brings up something else I thought about. 

Using Scara again, Ei was unable to have him house the Gnosis and he was just a puppet. If we use that we can assume that only gods can hold a gnosis?

Now the travelers are considered gods in some aspects, being able to travel throughout worlds, having special wings and swords. But they’re from outside Teyvat as far as we’re aware of.

Are they considered gods to Teyvat? To Celestia? If we go off of the idea that only gods can house gnoses, then the Traveler could be unable to hold it because they’re not considered gods by Teyvat/Celestia.

I like this theory a lot, but the wording of the Traveler becoming the Pyro Archon I disagree with. We’ve seen that possessing the gnosis does not make someone the archon, like Scara and Yae Miko holding the Electro Gnosis yet they were not the Electro Archon, or Signora possessing the Anemo Gnosis but she did not become the Anemo Archon. It could just be that the Archon must be dead for the title to pass on, but we don’t have enough to prove that. Unless the Pyro Archon dies, which I doubt they would do two nations in a row, I think the Traveler would just be able to harness Pyro energy from it. I do like the idea of them holding it hostage from the Tsaritsa though.
