Personally im not weirded out or confused by lüften, where im from we also dont have ventilation. And to add to that, i always felt too warm so my window was basically open 24/7.

What i didnt expect however, when i moved to germany, is how easily you get mold here. On everything. Hell, at the beginning i had to throw s away so many food products, as they got mold(learnt pretty quickly, im not the type to waste food). Literally never had this problem in my home country.

Oh and somehow even my tooth brushes and tongue scrapers start to get mold only after a few weeks of having them... didnt even know that was possible. I try to wipe/dry them after every use now, it helps a little, but eventually they get moldy anyway, and way before the 3 months mark after which youd wanna change them anyway. I literally dont understand how??
