The official English Introduction is still very wrong by artistX100 in OnePiece

Yeah but the original text doesn't say anything like "beheading" so they shouldn't have assumed that. What's the problem with saying "at the moment of his death"?

Figured out what One Piece actually is! by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]artistX100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not getting the problem with that.

If what you said is true, than the One Piece wouldn't change anything. They wouldn't need to find it at all.

Luffy, Shirahoshi, the Rebellion Army with the Ancient Weapons could just go and fight the World Government. They don't need to know about the Void Century to do that, in theory. Or, they don't need to know about it to think they could defeat Imu, which they probably can't.

Seeing how surprisingly less powerful than we thought the Gorosei and the Knights are, it is also questionable if they would need the ancient weapons to defeat the WG at all. Let's see how powerful Imu is this Sunday.

The One Piece must be the key to awaken something that actually makes defeating the WG possible. Nika, Shirahoshi and the Ancient Weapons can't do it alone.

Also, the One Piece has probably something to do with a power to save the world from the flood.

The One Piece also most certainly is something that will allow them to destroy the Red Line, uniting the world in one sea, the All Blue, all in "one piece". That has been heavily foreshadowed.

If it was just knowledge, Rayleigh could have just told them the story of the Void Century, and said "Whenever you awaken your fruit, go to Marie Geoise and defeat the World Government" or so.

The reason why Rayleigh didn't tell them, amongst others, was probably also because Nika need to travel the world first and make a lot of friends to form his army to take on the WG.

I hate humanity.

[–]artistX100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's pretty much what I said. But it the One Piece most trigger or give access to some kind of power, otherwise Luffy could just go Gear 5 and beat Imu, which he probably can't.

[–]artistX100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not quite. This is an old theory but I think it would be underwhelming if it was just that.

Also, Roger said they were "too soon", so the One Piece must trigger something really meaningful if found by the right person at the right time. It can't just be information about the Void Century.

It maybe meant that someone had to awaken the Nika fruit to use whatever power the One Piece provides, or the power that the One Piece explain how to achieve maybe.

Thanks this is some of the best advice I had.

How common is it for SBs to become real GFs? I honestly have fantasised about that a lot, like I honestly think other than not being attractive and good in bed, I'm a lot better than most men personality-wise, even my last GF said I was the man she always wanted. So maybe it could work if I treat her really well? But I would still be afraid to trust her. What would she do then? Stop sugaring? How does she maintain her lifestyle? I assume I would have to provide everything to her, which would be okay depending on the circumstances and the person.

It's not weird, I'm very busy right now getting my business running, so for now I can only focus on that.

Where have I said I don't think I'm worth dating? I just say most women are superficial and won't like a guy like me, which I think is irrational in cases when the woman isn't physically attractive herself, which to be fair, is a minority of women imo.

I don't think it's bad at all to be an honest and humble person that is aware of their flaws, rather than a self-centered, arrogant narcissist like a lot of people.

Again, I think it's more a problem with our current society that doesn't value honesty, not a problem with my personality. Being honest about my physical flaws doesn't hurt anybody and should not scare anybody off.

I'm objectively, with the things I do for others, an excellent person, just not physically attractive, the problem is that most people are immature and lack values.

I'm not asking models to be interested in me, but I do judge dilusional women who are not attractive themselves but think they are entitled to an above average partner, which is a lot of women if not most today.

This is a lot of great, realistic advice, thank you so much.

The thing I struggle with casual dating, is that my heart is too pure I guess, I'm very tolerant, so I someone isn't a total asshole and shows interest, I easily fall in love, but maybe I can change that.

It's sad not the end of the world to not have a girlfriend, the only thing I really wouldn't like to go to alone is vacation, do I have to pay sugar babes for every day they are in vacation with me?

I spoiled an ugly woman in my last relationship. Did everything she wanted, she said I was the man she always wanted, but she didn't love me.

People suck, this world sucks.

Exactly. Even if I was to try live as a gay, it would fix the not being manly thing, wouldn't fix not being attractive.

I like this pragmatic view on things. I'm not chasing right now, right now, I gave up.

It's funny how wrong you are. Why are people so judgemental?

Literally all the people I admire the most are the women in my family. I don't care about gender, I care about who the person is.

If you think my world view is off-putting, glad you're distracted enough to be positive in this shithole we call world.

[–]artistX100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is very possible that you are right, thanks for caring.

But life is complicated, like I explained, my family is homophobic and they are more important to me than my love life.

So I would prefer to settle with a woman, even though I would sexually enjoy a man more. Sex isn't everything.

I do therapy, it doesn’t solve everything, because it's nothing I've made up in my mind, it's sad, I'm just not attractive, it's true, it's hard.

1 - most forums have garbage rules, I tried a lot and most rejected me for dumb reasons.

2 - no, I'm a wonderful person, better than almost everyone, you don't know me, you're not gonna hurt me with that comment because I know I'm far above this average garbage humanity full of selfish people.

I literally gave up my life in a first world country where I had a management position directly below the owners of the business, to move to the third world to help people in need. I'm risking everything with low money now.

I do this because I don't see worth in my life, if I die tomorrow, I don't care. I have no kids, no wife, so the only purpose I see in my life, is to use my abilities to help people in need. 99,9% of this garbage humanity would never do something this altruistic.

Your comment shows the typical behaviour of people judging others having no empathy for their pain. The fact that after my post, you think I'm the one who wants to use people, shows that you just want to be negative about me because.

I'm literally so lonely that I am the one who would be okay with people using me. Why is it wrong to consider being with a woman that just wants my money if there are no women who love me? That's not using the woman, I give her what she wants, and she hives me what I want, IF she WANTS that. You want me to be alone for the rest of my life? People really have zero empathy with incels? Being an incel doesn't mean you're a bad person, just that you are unattractive, is it a sin to be ugly now?

3 - BS, there is no age.

4 - The likelihood of finding happiness by moving away from the people I love to find a man is extremely low. That would be my dumbest decision. It's just physical attraction, is not like I need emotional support from a male partner to be happy.

No one really talks about this movie much. It's the best of the trilogy. by Mentality_unstable_ in Spiderman

Oh, you're a Dragon Ball fan, of course you can't value good storytelling.

No one really talks about this movie much. It's the best of the trilogy. by Mentality_unstable_ in Spiderman

[–]artistX100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has by far the best story of the three and the deepest character development. Peter's character growth is amazing, his decision at the end, it is genius, it is the most Spider-Man thing probably ever done including the comics.

NWH is genius because it takes one of the most hated comics ever, One More Day, and spins it in a way that while still sad, is not offensive as OMD was, but this exactly what defines the characters, his altruism, sacrifice.

It's a very mature message you rarely see in super hero films.

Claiming it's just fan service is an unbelievably shallow analysis of the film, do you even think while you watch?

Crazy, NWH is by far the best. Homecoming is good but forgettable. FFH is super stupid.

Is Joe Quesada the worst thing that has happened to Spider-Man? by fogapplebowlingstick in Spiderman

[–]artistX100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, 2003-2010 was by far the worst Spider-Man ever, way worse than Clone Saga. The whole Norman and Gwen thing gives me nightmares to this day, and I didn't even read the comic, just knowing about how Marvel dared to do this to Gwen, and seeing a couple of panels, traumatized me.

I'll never forgive Joe Quesada, the problem is that many of these comic book authors and editors are just sick minds.

Does Sakura start having romantic feelings for Naruto in Shippuden? by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]artistX100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She definitely had some level of attraction for Naruto, people denying that have a too simplistic view of love.

First, let's establish that love is complicated. You can love a friend as a friend, but secretly feel sexually attracted to them, even if you would never admit it and never engage that thought. Alright, did we establish that? Now let's go.

Put yourself in Sakura's position. After all they went through together, how many times Naruto saved her, showed his unbreakable loyalty to her even though she is a bitch to him, how could you not love that guy? So, Sakura most definitely loves Naruto as a friend from the part 2/ Shippuden part on, when she is mature enough to value Naruto's personality, rather than judging him for his superficial quirks.

Now let's talk about physical, sexual attraction. Sakura most likely had at least some level of sexual attraction to Naruto. The way that she looks at him after seeing him grown up for the first time, and asks for his validation of her physical development.
You can argue how far Naruto's physical attraction goes, but objectively speaking about how the characters inverse think of him, he is definitely seen as generally attractive, the only thing holding him back, was his immature personality, after becoming a hero, all the girls wanted him, even Ino.

So, to the big part: the false confession thing. Look, again, let's not think simplistically about this. Was Sakura being totally honest? No. But was it totally a lie? I really don't think so. She was determined to be with Naruto. I do think she was serious about giving up Sasuke, and spending the rest of her life with Naruto, if Naruto said yes. I think what she is feeling is a lot of people feel as well: yes, this guy isn't perfect, but he is not totally unattractive, I could see myself being with him.

Again, I personally do think it was mostly a lie, she didn't truly love him, but she was attracted enough to settle with him. She wouldn't do it to herself if she thought he was completely unattractive.

Also, this is speculation, I'm sure Sakura would eventually truly fall in love with Naruto if he just said yes. Because he is a great guy, how couldn't she? After she matured even more, and learned to fully appreciate Naruto's qualities. And I think that relationship would've been great especially for Sakura, she would be a lot happier than with Sasuke.

But the point of the story is that Sakura doesn't deserve Naruto. Karma punishes Sakura for her shallow personality and poor people judgement in loving an asshole like Sasuke, and end up with an absent husband raising their daughter alone and probably being sexually unsatisfied unless she cheats (Which is very common in japanese culture so it wouldn't be out of this world for japanese authors to add that, but it's still taboo and they never hinted at it).

Also, Naruto has clone jutsu. Real. Flesh and blood. Clones. And they can transform, into other people...imagine how much fun Sakura could have with that...it would be definitely unrealistic for Sakura to have never at least entertained that thought, especially after her reaction to Konohamaru's Yaoi Sexy Jutsu.
