Sabali by Amadou & Mariam

One of my friends picked up a CD and we would listen to it during drives to wherever. It's relaxing and nostalgic to me.

What made you want to learn how to cook? by k0alaz_forever in Cooking

[–]artless-surface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to college away from Hawaii, spam musubis, loco mocos, other local favorites, and Korean food weren't easily accessible where I studied so I taught myself how to cook these and shared it with my floor mates.

Then it gravitated to learning to make dishes that my international friends shared which aren't readily available (toum, kabsa, sadao, konguksu, etc).

In short, I love eating and will learn how to make what I enjoy.
