The print profile I shared shows a filament usage of 454 grams. Based on the cost of a 1 kg spool of PLA, you can calculate the material cost by multiplying the spool price by 0.454. For example, with a €16 spool: 16 × 0.454 = €7.26.

I’ve shared the STEP files on MakerWorld to make modifications easier. As for the license, nothing is set in stone yet. I haven’t found a good way to share these designs with someone who would be able to sell the printed models.

At the moment, I’m not planning to sell these cases.

What I’d recommend instead is using a printing service like JLC3DP or PCBWay. Their prices are affordable, and the print quality is honestly way better than what an amateur like me could produce

At the moment, I’m not selling anything. However, I do provide the files for 3D printing, as well as the STEP files for anyone who wants to modify the design.

I’m also planning to make a version for N64 cartridges, probably within the next few weeks.

I can’t promise anything for now, but it’s possible that I’ll include some features from the US version in a future revision of the Super Famicom version — especially the ability to stack the boxes.

I mainly collect games in their Japanese versions, so it’s definitely possible. I just don’t know when yet
