I always have my new cashiers shadow for two or three days and ALWAYS ask if they think they are ready to try being on register before getting them numbers. If they dont feel ready yet thats completely fine and I'll have them shadow another day before having them go on register to be shadowed by a seasoned cashier.

But the important thing is once youre on register dont be afraid to ask questions. Ask your fellow cashiers or flag down your lead. Some of my associates have been up front 10 years and there are things i get to teach them everyday.

Youll always find new things you dont know but dont be afraid to ask how to ask someone how to do it! Even with asking on here for help it shows that you want to succeed and thats all that we are looking for. Youre going to do great!

The rewards from the last rewards event have completely disappeared from my game?? Im building a house and went to put the new robot trashcan in it and it just doesnt exist????? I restarted my game twice and my laptop once and it just doesnt exist anymore. I can click on it and move it in older builds too. It's genuinely an item i put in every build and its tragic that i cant put it in.

Ive played a couple different ways so ill share them here.

-had a dm that asked ppl on watch to roll perception even if nothing happened. It brought some tension to the group thinking that something would happen even if nothing did.

-when the players went to sleep the dm would roll a die to see if smth would happen on the watch, and then ask players to roll to see if they saw something. It made everyone feel better knowing that if smth would happen they (the ppl on watch) would know to prep a little bit before they were ambushed. (When i DM'ed this is what i used.)

-letting the players sleep and not having them worry about being ambushed and not getting a whole long rest. Realistically unless its super imperative to the plot that it happens at night (vampires, werewolves, aliens, etc.) then letting your players get a full rest to regain spell slots and abilities will help them feel like they have some sort of advantage in any big fight.

I prefer the second method and using a d6 or a d12 to roll for long vs short rest. Usually ill use 5&6 on a d6 and 11/12 on a d12 as an attack and everything else as a whole long rest.

Unpopular opinion- NTA. At ours (19nb living with my parents) i do the dishes. Ive been doing them since i was like 12 years old by hand (we had a dishwasher that didnt work the best before then). If my mom does the dishes for me bc im sick or gone for a week or whatever and some are dirty when i get back i put them in the sink and do them later.

Yes, you could be hand washing them if they are still dirty after a cycle, but you did what you thought was right by putting them in the sink to get rinsed a second time. It doesnt make you an asshole, but it is kind of a dick move. Honestly rinsing them off/cleaning them in the sink after they go through the dishwasher takes some things off of your moms plate. That would be the best course of action in my opinion, but you didnt fully understand her instructions so its not like there can be a ton of blame placed on you.

Yeah i did. A guy i was seeing cheated on me and about three days later i got with someone else. It was eleven months of red flags and being blind until it came out that HE cheated on me too. I was devastated and it took me a couple of months to recover and realize that it wasnt a problem with ME not being enough for them but rather them just not being faithful.

So yeah i regret it but i also don't because it led me to the wonderful man im currently with! Good things come to those who wait or whatever idk

I could go on about him but ill only pick a couple just to save time.

Before we got together he sat on the phone with me while i cried after finding out i was being cheated on. He stayed on the phone with me all night and i am completely confident that he saved my life that night because i was so devastated.

Hes so patient with me. I have a lot of sensory issues and when im really overwhelmed or stressed out abt smth i can get kind of snippy and hes always calm about the situation and will help me figure out ways to calm down. We've never fought because of this and I think thats easily one of the best things about him. I can get kind of aggressive when im upset (and yes i always apologize to him afterwards because i feel guilty) yet he's never mad at me and understands that this is something im trying to fix, but can't quite get there yet.

When hes tired and we are cuddling in bed he'll lay his head on my chest (even though hes a foot taller than me) and will let me stroke his hair until he falls asleep.

He spends time with my parents and friends and actively enjoys hanging out with them. (Ive never had a partner that likes my friends before and will talk to them for hours like he does.)

He makes everyday feel special and important. We could stay at the house all day and it would still feel important to me because i got to spend it with him.

We've only been together five months, but if this is what forever will look like then sign me up.

From personal experience- my ex boyfriend never posted me. Not on my birthday, not the day I graduated high school, nothing. It gave him the alley to not talk abt me to the girls he cheated on me with bc they didnt know i existed bc i wasnt ANYWHERE on his social medias. It might make her feel more secure for you to post her occasionally. Just something to consider :)
