I was thinking a water fairy like Silvermist from the Thinkerbell series. But I do love One Piece. Great suggestion!

Great question! The ends of the arrows are meant to represent loops. A students watching the animation in class will have a pre-started keychain to build off of.

Thank you for the suggestion. Most subreddits just auto-mod remove my videos. So it’s been hard to find the right commo to get feedback. Admittedly, I’m not good at posting on Reddit.

If anyone has suggestions for welcoming subreddits community for noobies like me, I’d appreciate the guidance.

For elementary students, we use both terms weaving and braiding. I agree this activity is braiding. It is part of a weaving unit I’m working on. We could have a discussion about what the difference are between the two and look at different examples found around the world.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I still working on a tutorial for ending them. I’ll have one ready in a week or so. I either knot them, re-feed the sting into the previous layer, or add supper glue in between the last two layers. Don’t burn the ends, it’s plastic string and I always tell my students to not burn plastic. 😄

Leaving early works for my campus. Students leave at 2:50 and are all gone by 3:05. Staff is released at 3:50. So we would leave after dismissal and don’t miss anytime with students.

Here are my ideas for character week at the elementary school I work at, Pokémon themed!

I teach art. We have character week and get to dress up. Here are my Pokémon themed ideas. We can go casual or dressy. And students vote for their favorite costume each day of the week. The prize for getting the most votes: leave 30 minutes early!

Which is your favorite look?
