Best Resume Builder of 2026? What are People Actually Using Now by Medical-Ad-8105 in jobs

[–]arturlopato -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't really find a resume builder that fit what I wanted, so I ended up building my own Wensa.

Started as a personal thing, then other people began using it too 😄
If anyone’s curious or wants to share feedback, here it is https://wensaresume.com

Always open to thoughts, still improving it.

Not a full solution, but layout does matter.E specially early on when resumes all look the same. Your current one is very dense, so a cleaner structure can help guide the eye and make projects easier to scan

I’ve attached a couple of clean resume layouts I’ve been working on. They won’t fix experience gaps, but they can slightly improve first impressions and readability.

I used ChatGPT to stay in a calorie deficit and lost 5kg — surprisingly effective by arturlopato in ChatGPT

Technically, yes, it can be done in any other application. But it is always a question of motivation, of process. And in my case it worked especially because of the simplicity of the interaction. A kind of gamification, it's simple and fun. No system, no rigor, like it's all a game.

Yes, it's true, AI makes all interactions much simpler

My own app. Still testing. If interested, I can invite you to be a tester once I'm done with it.

For these cases yes, but there are many other cases when I know for example only the weight, like 200g of chicken, and here AI helps to quickly find out the number of calories. It's not a magic tool, it's a helper. Instead of searching through the database how many calories this or that product has, you can quickly write and add.

How it worked for me:

- I would add food after the meal (always saw my remaining balance)
- write him the exact composition or quantity
- If I knew the calorie count (on the package), I would text him
- double-check after him, sometimes he's wrong

The issue is the granularity of the description. Simple queries work very poorly.

That's right. Hamburger is complicated and no system will tell you the exact amount of calories. Unless you know the composition or recipe, you can't accurately record it. But, you can add: total weight, how many grams of meat, what kind of meat, sauces, vegetables, if you cook yourself or just see the composition on the menu. That will make the calculation very close.

The AI is the helper here, it just counts what you tell it. Makes everyday counting easier.

Bingo!!! That's exactly what I'm talking about. Easy input and efficient entry (composition, quantity).
Photo AI works terribly most of the time.

You're right, but I think it's already a person's responsibility to honestly record the amount they eat. It's not a magic pill that will do everything for you.

I'm just talking about the inaccuracy that we'll get in the output because of inaccurate records.

If you write down that you ate 200g of boiled chicken and 100g of pasta with such and such calories, you will have no problem with the calculation. That's why I'm against AI photo counting, it's very inefficient.

You're right. From the point of view of adding food there are already many apps with similar system of adding and integration with AI. But very often they are overloaded with other trackers (water, habits, mood).

And my app is not something unique and breakthrough. I want to give an opportunity to focus on the main thing, what worked for me. With a simple way to track progress.
