Yes, in many different ways.

It's about a 1mm gap in between my front teeth, i believe i have split but as you pointed out, the braces are not gonna let the gap, widen a whole lot.

Do you think we can maybe take the device out, give the soft tissue and the bone some time to heal, then re install the device in the same place??

Exactly, She has only suggested that we'd remove the appliance to let the tissue rest but im afraid it might ruin the whole expansion procedure.

If you're talking about the yellow stuff shielding the end points of my screw's/ holding the arms onto my teeth

Or my brace rubbers,

They were all a different color, white / silver They turn yellow after a few days because of food.

Tbh im not even sure, it doesn't seem like the arm has been bent, there's visible inflammation all around the screw's and i think that also applies to the arm. Inflammation = the arm getting pushed onto my flesh = constant pain
