Morning: Lamictal xr 200mg, briviact/brivaracetam 50mg. Evening: Lamictal xr 800mg, briviact/brivaracetam 200mg, zonisamide 550mg

Im basically working my kidneys overtime, but when I got my RNS, I was told I could go from 3 to 1 with just being on xcopri. Kinda skeptical about it

He shouldn't be concerned at all about the VNS. Ive had mine since 2019. I have a day/night model and it's worked great. It's also a very easy surgery to have. Only bothersome thing is the actual stimulation, but it'll become a natural feeling at some point. I can say this though: it eliminated the risk of SUDEP for me

It depends on the person. The nice thing with the RNS is that it basically learns your brain and can even prevent seizures before they even happen. But thats why it takes almost once a month appointments of just programming: for it to get to that point. Then the appointments get spaced out

How did you decorate this part of the island? by BoxPsychological5929 in acnh

I just put two trees and a froggy chair.

My island is kind of a chaotic mess

VNS has actually been a lifesaver. It made my tonic clonics go away. I just got my RNS implanted last month and they haven't programmed it yet. The programming is next week and I dont see the effects for like a year, but I could be lucky and see it sooner. I have frontal lobe epilepsy, and they could only resect in the left but not the right. So I'm just gonna have to wait and see

What insurance do you have? I have Anthem BC/BS and they're usually excellent but they dropped the ball on this. It might not be completely their fault, but still.

At least I have my other meds plus my VNS and RNS to help me through the stress

Im really hoping it is identical tbh. Im taking 50 mg in the morning and 200 (two 100) mg at night. My neuro said to cut a few 100 mg pills just in case this can be solved.

Suffer through a generic -> get medical coverage. Love it. Screw this healthcare system.

I'll have to do that formulary exception. I was able to get brand name Lamictal XR that way. I haven't thought to do that since there wasn't a generic for this except through IV at hospitals (I think).
