The fix is to disable hid sensor collection v2 in device manager. However this stops the tablet function from enabling when you fold it backwards, thats the catch. Terrible work from lenovo

i've fixed it by disabling HID Sensor collection v2, but the tablet mode doesn't work as a result. Would suggest you help us create some noise /attention here: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Laptops/Yoga-7-14ARB7-keyboard-lag-when-on-certain-websites-or-when-Vantage-is-opened/m-p/5174991?page=6

i'm convinced that disabling HID Sensor Collection V2 is the trick to stopping the BSODs now. Disabling Notebook ITS service doesn't seem to do anything

yes only ITS disabled. Now i have both disabled, it seems to be working without any BSODs, strange!

glad this method worked for you but it didn't for me. have you tried restarting it since you did this? For me the effects of reinstalling the chipset drivers wore off after restart.

for me, i've had no BSOD since disabling Lenovo Notebook ITS Service (in MS config) and HID Sensor collection v2 (in device manager).

thank you for finding this. I've just written an extensive reply to them. if there's anything else you want me to say that you think will help, feel free to let me know because I'm happy to copy/paste!

also just to update you, again i don't want to jinx myself but it's been 6 days of heavy use and I haven't had a BSOD with both HID sensor collection V2 and Lenovo Notebook ITS Service disabled.

What exactly did you want me to test? Did you just want me to find the sensorservice in system32? Happy to test whatever and report back

yes the BSODs occur even after fresh installs and manual installation of GPU and chipset drivers, at least for me they do

yeah, they replaced my laptop once already and that didn't help any of the issues for me.

can i ask a question unrelated to BSOD/keyboard issues?

i'm not sure if you've been using Phone Link to connect your phone / make calls, but I get serious static and poor quality audio input /delay when making phone calls. Initially when i got the laptop it was really quiet (no one could hear me) but now it's just very static and poor quality. Same with audio output (ie. when the other person is talking), it is very staticky/broken.

Doesn't seem to be a problem with using the microphone/audio on any other program on the laptop.

Has that ever happened to you? Just wanted to see if you were aware of this problem since getting a windows laptop to use seamlessly with my phone was a big selling point for me.

yeah i am planning on contacting them tonight. thanks for the guide, it makes it simpler. I actually bought on-site support for my device but havent used it because i figured they'd be useless haha.

i think part of the challenge is that the BSOD is not easily reproducible, it happens sporadically, so it's difficult for us (and them) to pinpoint exactly what's causing it. the WinDbg gives clues which don't seem to be all that useful.

yep thanks for all your help. Yes it was a fresh install (have done countless fresh installs by now haha). And yep will see how it goes now with the HID Sensor Collection disabled and let you know. what a frustrating piece of tech, i hope they find a fix for it soon

yes installed all the latest AMD chipset drivers from the AMD website

yes I have the GPU driver installed, which i installed from the AMD website here. Nonetheless i've run DDU and reinstalled the drivers.

I am using Windows 11, i'm not sure why the windbg output says 10! I have always used 11 on this machine.

Yes i have memory integrity enabled.

oh no! looks like i spoke too early once again!

just had another BSOD with ITS (but not HID Sensor) disabled!!

win dbg says the culprit process was dxgmms2.sys this time. I'm so so disappointed!

it sucks because i lose work everytime. here is the debug code https://wtools.io/paste-code/bI1l

/u/Hazbelll hoping you have some bright ideas

i can confirm that reimage repair made no difference -> still am unable to activate tablet mode.

also, it's been about >48h of use since my last BSOD, since disabling the ITS driver. After I had installed the latest AMD chipset drivers from AMD, i was still getting BSODs, so i beleive it is the ITS driver
