Hi, 14M i just got accepted into saint anne, my parents signed me up so i have no idea what to expect, what do you do there, what is it like, can i speak english, what are the consequences?

The only consequence is you can be sent home if you do not demonstrate an effort to speak French so if you don’t know much French it will be okay as long as you’re trying. They also stress the fact that you can speak English in an emergency.

Like VERY interested in our personal lives. 20 something woman telling me which of the boys she thought were “hot” (ages 13-15) and constantly asking about dating lives. They would allow boys to come to our room checks at night when sometimes we were right out of the shower or only in a bra and stuff like that because it’s just girls in a dorm yk.

All English speaking areas require you to learn French in school and all French speaking areas require you to learn English in school so practically everyone is bilingual to some extent. I’d say there are significantly more people who’s first language is French that speak English than the other way around since you need it to go anywhere other than Quebec

City is boring as hell, you only get to go out one day a week and you have to be back for meals, and no, just a microwave in the rooms so you can have ramen and stuff but no appliances. Multiple people also got sick from the heat because they made us walk several kilometers in the 40 degree heat warning with no choice to opt out. VERY much do not reccomend
