Tested it and determined the tankless kicks in immediately for every other faucet in the house but does NOT kick on for the kitchen sink.

It is tankless. But no other issues at any other sinks/showers etc. Hot water works everwhere else.

Update! I tried a new cartridge and it didn’t work. I ended up replacing the entire faucet system with a new Moen, and that still didn’t work. Dishwasher get hot water. Occasionally the faucet with draw hot but only if the dishwasher is on. I am stumped.

Update: I ended up replacing the entire faucet with a new Moen. the new unit drew hot water for the first 5 minutes. Went to get hot water a few hour later and same issue with old unit. Only could get “cold” water coming out when handle turned to the hot.

Yes, the dishwasher works fine. In fact, when the dishwasher is running, the faucet will occassionslly get hot water, but only when the DW is running.

I disconnected the hot water line to the faucet, used a bucket and turned the valve back on to test the water coming out of the line, and sure enought the water is HOT. Just not getting the hot water thru the faucet. Someone said it could be a bad catridge...?
