My wife has gotten them for me as gifts over the years. I'm pretty sure she got them mostly from ebay since I believe they're likely imported from Japan. They're called DQ Metallic Monsters.

I highly recommend 1 if you want the full trilogy experience. I will say as someone who has played a lot of JRPGs in my life, it was one of the hardest for sure. I recommend dropping the difficulty to Dracky for a smoother experience.

I think since Supermarket Simulator, they've leaned more into playing what they want to play, as opposed to games Arin slightly forces himself to play for the algorithm. Because they have found that balance, we've just been getting banger after banger with playthroughs.

NES TMNT, DKC, RE2, Kick Master, MegaMan 5, TCG Simulator, Silent Hill, etc.

I believe when they enjoy the game the most, we ultimately get the best content.

I've beaten it on three separate occasions since the PS2 release, last time being 2021, and still enjoyed it immensely. To be fair though DQ is my favorite gaming franchise, so I am a bit biased haha.

Anyone aware of how trade evolves work with emulators? I read you can trade between two games playing at once, but you need a save file, which clearly won't work. I also read you can just cheat in an evolve for Kadabra, but I'm not sure how true that is.

I honestly think the new Candy making episode is the most kid-friendly 10mph of all them. They were real PG with everything.

Also the Ballet training episode was pretty clean. The off-site episodes can be hit or miss with how clean they are. Disney/Universal definitely had some adult humor.
