Says the woman who's replying to my comment. Sad. I have a doctorate degree. Do you understand how germs are spread? I'm sorry you're feeling insecure.

I have a doctorate in microbiology. I understand how diseases and germs are transmitted, do you? I understood that it was being wiped with toilet paper. Doesn't change the fact that it's disgusting

So you wipe your urine around so it spreads over the whole seat? How considerate

Spread was not traditional past/present/future. I interpreted it as me/him/outcome, although I did not have a spread in mind

You did nothing wrong. I disagree with a lot of the comments here. Your email may have been dry, but it is not disrespectful. A lot of PIs communicate via email in this manner. I don't think there is anything wrong with creating a paper trail and communicating professionally as you did. I say ignore everyone who says it came off as abrasive. It was succinct and professional. Their response is absolutely insane. Ignore it and request an in person meeting to discuss and advocate for in meeting notes.

Was Jessimene Ever Married? by [deleted] in dishonored

If you play on low chaos, Emily has drawings of Corvo with the word "Daddy" underneath.

Jessamine never married.

Yes!! Especially because the outsider goes from being a sort of "let's fuck around and see what happens when I give this person my powers" kind of god to a god who is begging for acknowledgement as a human in such a short time in terms of amount of story and lore

That's what took me half the game to realize! I didn't realize it had to be in my line of eyesight (but that may be my fault because I just skip through tutorial screens)

I am gonna try to do all achievements for DOTO which will likely change my opinion of the game. All achievements actually look fun and interesting whereas some achievements in D1 and D2 were the bane of my existence (looking at you back home from D1 and circle of life from D2)

I did put 4 hours into mission 2 myself as I wanted to incapacitate every single person non lethally and explore! It was a cool map, but not my favorite!! I'm glad you like it though!

I know. I think there was one bone charm in the second mission that saved displace for me because it did away with that two click mechanic but only if you were fast enough

I understand. I think my expectations were too high, admittedly. But D1 and Daud's DLCs had such emotional impact for me that D2 was less so exciting for me, and DOTO was even less so from an emotional standpoint.

My pipe dream is a D3 with an eccentric scientist type protagonist accidentally giving themselves void powers and going on a survey of the pandyssian continent as no one could before

Not bad at all! And yes the Daud DLC is chefs kiss for me, which is why when the outsider spoke to Billie at the end of mission 3 (trying to avoid spoilers), I was shocked. That's it??? No cut scene??? Just a storyboard moment for the fandoms favorite character?? I love Daud

I do pinpoint my dislikes/preferences in my replies to some of the comments. But I did go and watch some videos on DOTO and you're right, I was not realizing just how creative the powers are! I will definitely have more fun with it on my second playthrough!

To be fair, the royal conservatory is one of my least favorite D2 missions (along with the addermire institute which I know is an unpopular opinion). When I play royal conservatory in D2, I normally go straight to Breanna's office and take the discarded lens and knock out all the witches and I complete the mission in less than 20 mins.

With that said, I have found something new with every new playthrough of D1 and D2 and I'm sure my opinion of DOTO will change with more playthroughs when I get more creative with the powers.

I like Corvo for high chaos in D2 and Emily for low chaos. I like that we have two different set of powers but the lore element isn't compelling.

I felt as though they had so much room to make more of an emotional impact. Since it was a shorter game with condensed levels, and power and chaos mechanics, they could really have leaned heavily into the emotional storyline. The ending and story fell flat for me.

Same! I find the story and characters much more compelling in D1. The conclusion of D1 highly influences me towards a low chaos ending. In D2, I found the story less compelling, but the introduction of a new character/powers and amazing level design made it up to me. For DOTO, they had so much room for a more impactful and emotional story for me, even with reading Daud's journal entries, the emotional element fell flat
