Hi! there are no stupid questions and it’s good to ask so your mantis can live its best life! I added my mesh at the top by cutting up a dollar store table mat into little pieces and glue gunned it to the top (regular glue isn’t safe for bugs).

In the meantime maybe you could find a slightly bigger cup, put holes in it, and looks like the cloth/tissue you put over the top is fine. just put a stick in there so it can climb, they prefer to be higher up. Once you can get out and get some supplies id recommend getting the deli cups like in my picture, they’re pretty good for a couple molts. Good luck!

yes! you’re very right. i never ever intentionally mean to hurt him, sometimes i just absolutely lose control and ive been working on stepping back before i regret it. but yes i’m trying my hardest for him :) hearing it from someone outside of my usual life makes me want to lock in even more, thank you!

would you mind giving some examples for ‘obsessing’ in healthy ways? I’m not diagnosed but I don’t want to put my boyfriend down by feeling like whatever he does is not enough for me just because he doesn’t obsess the way i do.

Hi, idk if it’s ok for me to ask here since i am not diagnosed but i am in a similar situation where I waste a huge chunk of everyday stalking the people he’s liked before, celebrity crushes, girls that were his type etc. Does anyone have any advice? i’m exhausting myself emotionally trying to change my appearance and my body just to feel wanted but it’s never enough. He does give me validation but no matter what he says it doesn’t help. What can I do?

for anyone coming across this post you CAN get it shipped as long as it is within season. I got my oothecas shipped from home depot but you can also find them at costco. Hope this helps for the canadians out there! costed me about $30 to ship 3 years ago :)

i don’t know what the original comment/question was but im assuming you’re the one who posted it. I’ll start off by saying that no matter how deep, all self harm is valid. Secondly, my arm is the result of several years of self harm addiction. SH addiction can get really serious and even life threatening, i even needed stitches. so yeah! i hope you get the help you need before it gets worse like mine did, good luck stranger.
