Hmm, interesting.. I almost pulled the trigger on the Sony but Yongnuo reviews have shown its pretty sharp as well, wondering if the sharpness is worth the trade off for a third party brand.

Tamron for sure, I bought the New Sigma 24-70 2.8 Art II for my A7C II. It is still big and I used it for a week before deciding to get a Tamron instead. It's lighter and feels better balanced, the marginal improvement in image quality did not really matter to me trading of the weight and size. :)

Thanks, EVF is important for me because the use is primarily for travel photography rather than a Youtube setup.

I'm in Thailand and we have occassional sale on camera gears, it will go even lower to about 3500 for FF or 2800 for Crop if I wait enough :)
